Hmmm pretty underwhelming. Worse cc than a locust, no infiltratration no specialist. Viral mines are cool but 2 SMGs is a bit meh if they arent on something that leverages their cheap cost. I guess we see what shasvastii does as a rule.....
I dont exactly like fluff consequences ;P Well regarding the gameplay: bit of a meh ? Bit expensive as for "cheap hard hitting unit". But aftermentioned mines might be usefull againdt Vedic. Having camo mines is nice in general... (something NCA did not have previously).

I dont think 24 pts really does it for getting 3 mines down. If she had minelayer then maybe but without it :(
I wouldnt worry about the fluff much either. Shes a smuggler so it sounds fairly nuetral and makes sense shed had contacts in the largest power in the sphere
I like the look of her, she seems to fill a counter-skirmisher role, like Dart. B4 for 0 swc is nothing to shake a stick at either.
I dont think fd1, no marker state and no msv lets her do that effectively. Not sure what id say her role is, i think that probably depends more on the shasvastii rules than anything
Locust doesn't have MA 2. That alone makes it far better than Locust in CC, While she isn't a god of CC she is above average. Forward Deployment Lvl 1 backed with viral mines and a decent close range firefight ability at those points seems interesting to me. And what I think is the new toy that brings to NeoTerra: Scavenger. That skill is just for the fun but sometimes can be helpful.
So viral mines.....viral CC ok starting to see more of a role.... There also that reason to spend orders on her @Nemo No Name so those b4 ap/shock guns will be kicking in....
She definitely gives NCA some more forward presence. With the Locust and a Peacemaker that becomes a serious roadblock to get around. She also helps with guarding objectives. I definitely see her having a place in NCA.
Just short of useable CC, no Minelayer, no Specialist... erm thanks I guess? Nice to have, but thats about it. Dual SMGs with Mimetism and FW Dep means she is a nice option for a unhackable tertiary gunner. NCA can always use more options.
im not gonna count on her forward presence, FD 1 doesnt really push her that far up, its more a "I dont need to spend a single order to get out of the DZ" than a "Im an forward skirmishing unit" Shes aww fuck me its MA2? LAME so yeah shit CC there goes that
I guess a few Shas didn't get completely bent out of shape about the Humans dropping a rock on their DNA repository/spawning creche. I always saw Shas as being the most likely ally for Humanity out of the Combined Army. I mean, cut a deal to either give Shas the non-Human-habitable planets in a solar system or even just share planets, and you'd have a decent ally of convenience.
Using a couple of orders to get her forward to the midfield and start droping mines isn't that bad. especially since it can be done as part of a coordinated order. She might not be the best "skirmisher" in the game but she is still gives NCA something new.
