I'm trying to make a couple varied lists and keep coming to the same conclusion. The a Brawler haris link with HRL is 51pts/2SWC and Scarface & Cordielia are 71/1.5. It's not feasible to have Druze core, Haris & Scarface in the same list. while they fit I think you need to sacrifice too much support. Which do you think is better for DBS.

    Scarface
    • More Durable
    • Build in engineer
    • HRL Better BS
    • 2xMk12 is better than Rifle with +1B
    • Cheaper SWC
Brawler Haris, HRL & Basic Brawler.
    • Cheaper points
    • HRL +1B
    • Can be used to reform Druze core link.
    • Multiple options to upgrade 3 man in link.(AHD, Doctor, Engineer).

Imho Depends on the mission, if you want a durable data tracker take scarface pretty much everything else take the brawlers

In addition to AHD, you also have the option of HD+Expel as Gromoz is a wildcard for link.

Personally I haven’t found much use for the Harris, but admittedly I haven’t fielded them but once.

With fireteam duo being free on brawlers it seems an expensive tax for +1 burst. The order efficiency is there without paying for Harris, and typically I am using 5.5 SWC on my core and troops to act as reinforcements.

Scarface is an exception where I will drop 1.5 swc from the core to make room for him and Cordelia. I feel that they are a heck of a combo and one of the more cost efficient TAGs in all of Infinity as that duo.

My idea has been that they bring more to the table than the Harris. Personally I want my brawlers near my core to reinforce it.

YMMV, and trust your experience over my opinion. I haven’t fielded the Harris more than once because after discovering “the churn” (my expression for reinforcing the core fireteam) I haven’t been able to justify the either of Harris options in DBS.

I should really try them out some more in pickup games, I know other players have had success with them.

I think focusing on the HRL is a red herring, you bring Joe for what is essentially a DAM16 Spitfire, the fact he brings a nice long range template weapon is icing on the cake.

Whilst Brawlers can hit burst 4 with their rifles the short range and significantly lower DAM don't really compare.

I have found that the brawler Haris with MSR better loadout that the HRL. I normally will run the MSR, the haris brawler and the assault hacker.

I've been running my MSR as an ARO piece in my core. Preferably going second. Combined with losing 2 orders to a command point I find it really eats into my opponent turn one orders. I intentionally keep a "replacement' model near by to reform back up to 5 man incase she dies. Even if she doesn't die, I usually reform the link and leave the MSR as an ARO piece so my core link can move up.
