Static stance, rage fist, the only thing the Squalo is missing is a tactical rock. It's the more modern sculpt (even with the old HMG) but it's fugly compared with the Cutter.
Shrug, I love the squalo, its subtle, and not as 2 dimensional in real life as it can look in photos, theres a twist in the torso and the legs are certainly braced.
One of the things I liked about the older squalo was just how posable it was with just a little bit of work. Those ball-jointed arms helped a lot in that respect.
I'm not a fan of the Squalo profile, but if i had to choose a model for one I'd choose the old one. Like the Cutter, it's just plain more dynamic and not some kind of qierd robo hip thrust thing. I love my cutter model and and will continue to use it, so don't really care if it gets rescultped, but I would like to see it keep its dynamism.
I bought not so far the cutter and I think is a lovely model. Perhaps a new cutter could be awesome, but they are so many others miniatures in pano's catalog wich need much more a re-sculpt... XD I can wait for a new cutter a little longer.
In front of me right now, in order of preference: Uhlan (different base) - I love the skulking pose of the camo TAG Cutter - just classic (though missing the ankle-fins, 'cus who actually knows where to attach them?) Jotum - looks to be mid-firefight, right in the midst of hails of bullets and explosions, but not in any way bothered Squalo - despite my earlier statements, I agree with daboarder it does look pretty good in person Seraph - really needs to be pointing or sweeping its sword, not staring at it, quite static overall though Dragao - not a huge fan of this fellow (or the rage fist), I think the HFT should have been integrated into it's palm and the forearm guard shaped like a dragon's head Tikbalang - what a boring pose for such a cool TAG Eduardo - all the issues of the Tik's flat pose, but with added machete
You're right on Tik pose. That's the reason I tried this: New Cutter is coming for sure (90% ) and I can't wait for it.
I played with it today and it's sufficiently stable. It's hard to knock it over by accident. Most of the mass is over the base so it's OK.
#bestTAG is the TIKxEduardo armswap. Love that "we're done here" pose. https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threa...whatve-you-got-going-on.287/page-9#post-63806
That's very good. I just got another Eduardo, and have been debating what to do with it. I doubt I need 3 Tikbalangs, but if I do, your armswap is a great idea.
