The Jolly Blue Giant has been decidedly docile and sleepy for this fight. The numbers they displayed at Wotan were decidedly less, and the sheer hatred and animosity that Ariadna showed them was embarrassing to say the least. Looking in from the outside, it was like a child being jealous of his much older brothers toys. The toys the older brother really cared little about and left for him. The child perceives this as a victory and the older brother leaves it to him. Ariadna would do well to learn some humility and honor...perhaps the Tohaa could provide this to them when Ariadna returns to their base and has to request permission to enter...
Maybe our former Haqqislam allies might one day realize that the reson we attacked PanO was due to them sending their puppets against us, as both the Tohaa and the Japanese attacked Ariadna without provocation. Ariadna even extended a friendly hand to the Japanese despite them being colonist on our planet. And when the Tohaa were asked why they were attacking us, they only answered : to protect the interest of Panoceania. Thus, due to the Tohaa advantages, the only solution left was to show that their actions were useless and deal a blow to the "hyperpower". The only thing the Tohaa earned in their operation is another enemy, and another nation showing doubts about their intentions along with Yu Jing. Ariadnans know how to chose their friends : friends are those who stay with you despite adversity. Only Yu Jing did that right now, even if our relationship isn't all flowers and sunshine. It is a shame that Haqqislam as aligned itself with the imperialist PanOceanian nation.
It's mindblowing to me that Haqqislam would have such animosity towards Ariadna despite our complete lack of such feelings for them Holding on to neutrality and not coming to our aid is one thing, but this taunting and derision makes it look like the sword of Allah is looking to make enemies out of those who would traditionally call them friends
It's not taunting! When I write about toning down the threats and the boasts, I'm being honestly concerned about the future of our factions. We are not conquerors, we are merchants. We do not strike when others are down, we don't care about glory beyond that of being vessels of Knowledge and Peace. I know it's hard for roughened warriors to understand this, but the situation that arose between High Commnads during Wotan, and what Ariadna did, for whatever reason, painted your Command in a very bad light. And it didn't just affect the Tohaa, it affected us as well. So, to put it bluntly, never again ask us to attack another Faction that had never attacked us. You will find that we are very stubborn camels and won't march thay way. We remember our allies, and we honor our alliances even two campaings later. Even if it costs us a considerable personal gain ((OOC: if you don't know what I'm talking about, we didn't push to keep the Johnny 5 Kommstat once the Aleph incursion subsided, that was deliberate)) Yes, we didn't win any points with certain local and foreing elements, but it's the way we conduct ourselves. Merchants, not Conquerors. And the Ariadnan attitude remained the same. Which is what made us pause and be weary of any offer you gave us. That is all.
PanOceania made an unwarranted and illegal assault on Antella on flamia, claiming that the camp was established by YuJing pirates. How they expected to convince O12 of that blatant lie when O12 set up Antella was anyone's guess. After pano was disheartened and repelled, the combined army assaulted aleph's node on flamia, being the closest force, Ariadna stepped in shut the node down as a protective measure and provided security until O12 could spare personel to examine the node for Intrusion. Ariadna established a quarantine facility to screen PanOceanian troops returning from the Raxxora. Haqqislam and the Tohaa were informed of this before it occurred, and only objected several days into the process. PanOceania repopulated PanOc 23 to 'protect the JSA from ariadnan aggression' while Ariadna extended a hand of friendship to the JSA. The JSA tried to bite that hand, and had it's teeth knocked out instead. The Tohaa assault was justified as protecting the JSA then when no attack was made on our part they tipped their hand and admitted to an alliance with the potentially infiltrated PanOceanian commanders who refused screening. This forced us into a temporary neutrality agreement with YuJing, on much the same terms as the agreement, still unbroken, that we have with your own Haqqislam, @Danger Rose . We have no intention to break either agreement, but we will respond with ruthless aggression should either of the other parties do so. Ariadna could not allow the possible CA infiltrators in PanOc to leave without investigation, but the combined army had assaulted Aplekton, so while repelling a tohaa assault we leant aid to Aleph. When aleph had recovered and regrouped, we set about securing the PanO base to check for the compromised members of PanO command. The result of the investigation will be revealed once we have verified the evidence, and informed O12, unlike the so called 'Ariadna papers' which are as yet still unsubstantiated after two years.

You could save breath of these tales. In short, the biggest bully at the backyard declared "this place is mine!" and attacked other guy whom he tried to steal a girlfriend last year (and failed in that). Now, he beated him after a fight that was probably harder then he imagined in the beginning and on the cost of sacrificing his left arm in the process. Now he stoods upon the body, bloodied but kicking his finally defeated foe while viciously screaming victory, and is surprised it hasn't earned him any friends, with an exception of one creep who used the overall confusion to put his own revenge on another fella.
