Maybe if Tohaa HIs and TAGs would get non-hackable, as they are bio constructs, Ectros and maybe Gorgos would see more play.
That would be an improvement or make them in some kind worth their points. Honestly Neema and Ectros get outshined by Sukeuls and Sakiels, sure they got some good aspects but they aren't really worth the extra points. and i won't even start with Taqueul...
I think Sukeul shines, because all Tohaa are bad shots (sorry, coming from Pano), so a BS13 with mimetism in a link will be the bestest, no matter what. Symbiont armor being cheap and abundant, Ectros being a HI, having +1 W, but also getting all the HI drawbacks (price, hackability, E/M) just isn't enough.
That would make perfect sense. Plus the Ectros are only ARM3 so they're not the unstopable ARM5/6 HIs like Taskmasters, Krizas or Achilles.
An ectros with ARM 5/6 it's maybe too much for Tohaa standards, but Taqeul have 3 and it's not a HI, maybe 4 will be a good ARM proportion to represent the superiority of the HI compared with the MI (taqeul)
Please take your negativity elsewhere. I was trying to make a fun thread of speculation about things we know we will never get just to keep Tohaa players spirits up. We get beat up enough in the regular area of the forum, we don't need it in our own section as well.
Hey I was joking in good humour, personally I would be interested in any Tohaa releases been shown, but we have no info so far.
Well, now that we have our own WIP 14 Killer Hacker I don't mind if the oponent brings a Hacker to the table and tries to stop our PB 6 or 9 hackable troopers. We only miss Repeater coverage, but that would be too much.
Sorry! I was not trying to be a downer, just keeping it real, and I play Tohaa as well, So! I feel your pain. again, sorry if I offended you.
You can get Boarding shotgun toting, nullifier carrying bots with visors and SSL2 for 15 points that are AVA 4. You can make the majority of the board unhackable. Edit: I forgot about the SMG, 2 nano pulsars and nullifier for 12... and the 2 other units.
Sure, we might see something like a Taqeul render or a Sakiel or Ectros resculpt, but it would be foolish to not be cynical about Tohaa products at Gencon.
