Even if you have template weapons on your table edge, those units might still be eliminated or she'll be held back for the next turn and the smoke/Ko Dali rampage will still happen. Its a potent combo.
Whoops! bit of a typo there. I think the HI could have MSV or sensor and be a very cool profile for camo hunting. I fully agree with the eventual point that another smoke platform in yu jing wouldn't be broken. However, I think being too reliable and cheap would be a bit excessive, given Yu jings access to Rui Shi and Hsien.
@Triumph you disagree fully that Speculo has very good use of smoke themselves or that it is a short range device? They supplement Ko Dali really well (and somewhat expensively), but you don't need Ko Dali for a Speculo to have great use of smoke. @Alphz time will tell. I hope CB will give us more variety than we'd give ourselves. I'm not arguing for a cheap smoke, however, I'm hoping for one of the most expensive smoke in game on a 33+ model. For no reason at all: Would Master Sergeant have MSV or Sensor? Or both?
I disagree with your argument that the Speculo only smokes for themselves, there are plenty of reasons for them to smoke for other models.
Sure, but that's not what I wrote. I wrote they don't need to smoke for someone else, meaning that unlike many smoke dispensers they are a self-contained combo. Smoke and a forward deploying melee unit is one of the strongest combinations in the game.
