We are talking about highly trained operatives (with the exception of most of the irregular units, the units that are actual criminals, and actual animals) here - they are distracted for exactly 0.93 seconds.

...which is all a sentient murder machine that knows your browser history needs.

They are generous. Painting the outside darker and highlighting the cleavage should help. The cameraangle could be unlucky too.

Not so much while in combat. You're more focused on survival at that time, rather than procreation. Now, if the Asura were being used as an infiltration unit, and needed that distraction for the split-second it takes to hack the sensors that would otherwise be blaring alerts about the sexy lady that just came in the front door being the most lethal thing on the planet outside of major military bases, then it might come in handy. Even then, you're stuffed if the guy on the sensors is gay, the girl doing the job is het, or whoever's on them is just not interested in boobs (some cultures think the western world's obsession with them is a sign of our immaturity as a whole, for example, and there's always the possibility that they're ace, in which case any play you make that relies on sex appeal is going to at best make them uncomfortable, at worst make them suspicious), so it's not something you can rely on even under the most ideal circumstances.

But this one is clearly not specced for infil, as she's not a human-passing model, so the... ample assets she's been saddled with are either a cynical PR move by Aleph for if recordings of ops got out as someone upthread said, or if humans were involved in the design process rather than it being an entirely in-house Aleph project, some lonely guy in the company responsible for Asura bodies wanted to indulge himself and had a good enough spin for it that it got approved.

It's called scale color, or somesuch. Paint something a light color to make it look larger, or paint it a dark color to make it look smaller. Pair these two things and this is what appears to be the case with the Asuras. Not going to dispute that the mini is amply endowed. Look at what the Tohaa pilot has. Maybe a certain sculptor needs to re-take a few lessons in figure studies.

It is not a good paint job. The hair and headgear look terrible. The painting bears little resemblance to the concept art. I reckon if the mini were painted with those colors, the lighter purples and the gray-greens, it would look much, much better. As it is everything is dark and indistinguishable from everything else.

I'm surprised that the Asura incited this much discussion. Isn't this infinity? The game of gloriously sculpted butt jokes and Ariadna giving their women combat boots with platform heels?

Whatever, I'm going back to staring at the Strelok and mashing the refresh key until someone scares up a profile for that or the Ratnik.

We still need to see the Asura's... back assets... to go that way XD

Same as the Ratnik, it seems.

Yeah, it's clearly the same weapon, but what range/ammo/etc

I'm thinking either AP+EXP disposable 1, or just AP if it returns, DAM=PH, and same range as a Vorpal CCW.

Between the trench hammer (if I heard the Bow+Boistra right) and the chest mines, it seems that Ariadna HI have a trend of creative use of explosive force and a lack of saftey standards.

    Heh... 'Chest mines.'

I didn't see those on the Asura profile? :P

I demand equality, why is no one complaining about good ol' Mr fabulous and his way too perfect buttcheeks?

In the grand anime tradition, the new Asura has Breast Missiles as standard: B2 DMG15 AP+DA Anti-Material, Disposable (2).

Someone at CB saw Infinity War and when they saw Thor's hammer they decided Ariadna needed one.

Looks a bit like 24 body bags...

So. Can we expect new profiles today? Looking forward to it. : ]

Another thing: am I the only one who is confused by the sheer amunt of hair the new sculpts have? The Asura seems to have a lot, but judging from the pics so far it seems to fit. Dart has quite vulominous hair, but the Naga is beyond good and evil. Yes, there is a backpack under it, but still most of it is hair.
