they could actually do a "CA sygmaa, Tohaa" box. I mean, the same box, maybe of 3 minis + spare bits to change tohaa into sygma. That would totally make the box appetible to a bigger playerbase, thus have enough sales to justify it
Worked on me! I feel like they only really have to do three things: 1 show off how cool the product looks 2 explain ARO and Orders, the most compelling parts of the game 3 act excited about both of 1 and 2. The rest of the product will speak for itself, and you have a pretty sympathetic audience (ie most people already want to be sold on a new game) But I am willing to accept other opinions. Did CB say what else was being release for August, or is Operation: Cold Front going to take up all the release slots?
Hopefully when they hit the reset button it pops open and the box is inside. Historically two player boxes have been the only release for the month.
There's often a couple of other bits available too, however those bits are normally show/direct only.
I was clapping my hands together like a goddamned seal i was so excited. oh this makes me happy, everything looks great even through BoW hurl-o-vision.
I definatly think CB has improved on the uncanny valley feel for aleph, they dont feel as much like "ppl in purple spandex" overall nice poses Only issue I have is I think the Ratniks CC weapon is comically large, looks like an inflatable hammer
New Vet Kazak looks super duper angry. Take a chill pill, bro-skivich! Ratnik weapons look neat...I'm assuming its moobs are the mine dispenser bits, the rockets are Uragan rockets, and the weapon in its hand is a Boarding Shotgun (see Garuda's boarding shotgun, below). And, of course, that hammer which a lot of people are going to simply lop off (myself included).
Couldn't have said it better myself. CB outdid themselves with this box. I'll let Rocket speak for me:
Love everything but the Ratnik. The oversized impracticle melee weapon and dull pose are what I expect of that other sci fy company
