Marksmanship lv 1 interactions

    Bit of a doubt on how Marksmanship lv1 interacts with a few things. I am not even sure they are all currently possible in the game, but here it goes.

    1) Impact Templates ( Heavy Shotgun ) - Whole template gets shock?

    2) Direct Template Weapon ( Chain Rifle, Heavy Flamthrower ) - Again, whole template gets shock?

    3) Direct Template Weapon that targets BS ( Nanopulser) - Template gainst shock and a additional armor roll besides the BTS one required by the ammo?

    4) E/M direct firing weapon ( Blitzen ) - Weapon gain shock and forces an armor roll besides the E/M BTS roll?

    1) Yes. Shock is added to the Normal damage that the template does.
    2) Yes, Shock is added to the Fire or Normal damage that the template does.
    3) Yes, the template gets a separate Shock damage roll. Shock effect is not added to the Nanotech damage the Nanopulser also does.
    4) Yes, the weapon gets a separate Shock damage roll. Shock effect is not added to the E/M2 effect's BTS/2 rolls.

    You know it just occured to me that alot of weapons that are non lethal, actually lack the non lethal trait and thus are allowed to benefit from marksmanship lvl1 and suddenly become very very lethal.

    Weird.

    Sure. But none exist in game, so it's not actually an issue. Unless I'm wrong?

    Lunokhods (for instance) get Ahesive Launchers instead of Blitzen prevent this issue.

    More just weird from mechanical standpoint. To me it says at some point in design they were possibly considering e/m weaponry being able to cause damage to models with structure which is why it never got tagged.

    E/M weapons used to outright kill Exrah, I think that's why.

    and Imm-1 used to be a bigger deal when you couldn't just ARO reset your way out of it.
