Not a lot in the way of sculpts for these guys, is there? It looks like just the one hunzakut and if you're lucky maybe you can find an old halqa somewhere.

Semi related, do we think these troops will be part of RTF?

Halqa and Hunzakut are Khanate so won't be in Ramah, which is Caliphate troopers, this probably also explains the paucity of sculpts.

The new Chasseur would make a good Hunzakut though.

Okie dokie! I've been trying to piece things together based on unit logos. So of the existing profiles, likely RTF candidates are:
    Al Fasid
    Ghulam
    Hakims
    Khawarijs + Tarik
    Naffatun
    Maghariba
    Tuareg
    Najjarun
    Zharedan
    the REMs
    Maybe Saladin

    Does that seem right?

That seems right, we can also probably expect a couple of completely new units when the sectorial drops in full.

That's fair. It looks like 'new' sectorials launch with around 15-18 profiles (not including basic stuff all of them get, e.g. faction REMs, the default doctor/engineer, warcors, etc) so I wouldn't be surprised to see 5 more profiles when it launches. Though I suppose some of that space could be used up by 'loaner troops' from other Hqq sectorials depending on how they design it. RTF seems like an unlikely candidate for Aleph loaners like they use to bulk out Yu Jing and Pan O sectorials.

Halqa were essentially Ghulams with Helmets, so I believe at this time, Ghulams are stand ins for Halqa.

I have to say, Halqa and Hunzakanuts are my favorite profiles from haqq. I would love to see who the halqa change. I'm just disappointed how many hunz. I can bring, (closet ariadna player) with hacking and em support.

Foxtrots and Chasseurs are good Hunzas and vice versa

I am pretty sure that Halqa will get a little overhaul, when they come back. Nothing major, but some little thing to make them more than ghulams with Mech Dep.

I doubt it. That seems like more than enough differentiation for a new line troop when compared with other factions hoards of line troops

I may be crazy, but I always thought Halqa made more sense in Ramah. Mechanized troops are logistically difficult to support and equip, and to me that means they out to be included in the "main" sectorial that represents the regular fighting forces of Haqqislam. The Khanate seems a little too rag-tag for them... but I see how they fit rules-wise in the "fast" sectorial.

Maybe, but on the other hand Kamaus and Securitates changed or will change substantially. So I think its not to far fetched, to assume that Halqa could change a little.
Of cousre, if they stay as they are in their sectorial, I wont complain. A Mech Dep Core is in itself quite intriguing.

Well, I don't expect Securitate to change in a way that will differentiate them from the rest of Nomads basic guys. If anything, they will probably become more similar to other cheap folks, unless CB decides that function of cheap line troops should go to some sort of new unit.

Halqa make sense to me in the Khanate, given that the region is a rocky, inhospitable zone under martial law with relatively few settlements, a large focus on rapid reaction and mechanised deployment seems perfectly understandable. I think that the Khanate will see two kinds of troops; one will be local irregulars, the Hunzakuts, Kum etc, and the other will be the local military force; tough, professional, disciplined and aggressive. In many ways the most hardened troops in the Haqqislamate military commands, they don't fuck about in the Gabqar Khanate. That's where the silk comes from. If you try an op there, they'll turn up and seriously fuck you up.

Wow, I was just about to make a thread asking about, "Haqla model update and release?" So, let me get this straight, they produced these models; however, they have been discontinued. They are more than likely getting an update and will be re-released, but no known actions have been confirmed yet? Has anyone contact CB Headquarters or a high up distribution insider for more information?

Expect them in 2+ years. Thats when the next wave of Sectorials is likely to appear.

Wooow...that sucks, but hey I've waited for a long time for the third Nomad sectorial right? But, that makes me question something. Will CB edit or remove our two sectorials? I just don't like the idea of building off something that is wiped from the game you know.

Considering they just discontinued most of the French miniatures line but committed to keeping their profiles legal in the game (and even gave them a small update) I OK it's highly unlikely that two more modern sectorials like QK and HB would be removed

Considering both sectorials have received some relatively recent re-sculpts (Muyibs, Asawira, Ragiks, BRV Fiday, Djanbazans, Janissaries, ect...), I think we are fairly safe for a little while.
