Best outcome in my opinion is that they are stuck in the open. If they get all the benefits of ignoring the attack they really should suffer the drawbacks. The worst case and a serious cause of Mate power is the abillity to soak and order or two with a Gao Rael or Nikoul thanks to range modifiers and burst before going prone as soon as hte mates gone. A pair of those can suck 5 to 6 orders without taking a single wound.
We must provide more suitable sacrifices to the rules-god if we wish for him to bestow upon us rules :D
I really don't get why isn't it possible, to periodically go through their own official forums rule questions, answer them, and occasionally collect all this into a FAQ. Answering rules question would take like 2 minutes per easy question, more for complex or unclear ones. Collecting the FAQ and clearing out the duplicates or the stupid questions would take more time, though anyone can do that, no need for rules expert there. And it's really important for the community, as the rules are complex, and the interactions are unclear. Please CB (@HellLois), answer rules questions!
