I feel like a woman with heavily-muscled thighs and the ability to crush a watermelon with aforementioned limbs is the least WTF-ey thing I've read here. Although, maybe I'm just too desensitized after stories of Autism Queen, moms with 'baby' obsession, and England...
The stupid is strong with this one. In fact, our shields can't repel stupidity of that magnitude: Uhm, my old man does most of the cooking, and it's a rare night when he doesn't use both of his chef's knives (yes, one 8" and one 10"). Reminds me, I probably need to swing back by and re-sharpen them. Dull knives are really damn dangerous! I think it was the movie Spartacus that showed all the dangerous places to slash with a knife...
One of my players works in programming and his department have lately been working to help troubleshoot the online systems for a big retailer (I shan't name them). At our RPG session last night he was particularly tired as he'd been, what he called, "firefighting" all day. Turns out an error in the online shopping system for this retailer resulted in about 34,000 transactions all being issued the same order number. Ouch...
That feeling when you contact your printer supplier for a new fuser and someone to fit it, and they don't tell the technician to bring the fuser! Hopefully he'll be back this afternoon.
A few days ago a thunder storm basically exploded my neighbours tree right into our garden. The lightning hit so close I could smell the ozone. Blew most of my house's fuses, but luckily didn't damage anything. Do I have a leg fetish because I played Chun Li in Street Fighter or did I play Chun Li because I have a leg fetish...
You play Chun Li because you're sexist. In other WtFs from my friend in programming, he currently fears for his job as the department keeps getting hit by staff cuts and with some odd behaviour from the higher-ups. A few months back, the head of their group was laid off. As soon as he got word of this he got a team of lawyers involved. Not to try to keep his job, but to see if there was a way for him to cause so much damage before he left that the company would have to go into administration. Thankfully, his period of notice, as it turns out, was shorter than the time required to cause that much damage.
