    Hello,
I found I seldom found list including salyut zonds (EVO).
Is it worth to have this guy in the list?
    Thank you.

I find I use it less useful for Nomads than my friends who play PanO. The exception being Satlock or Overclock focussed lists.

I use EVO only for Overclock in specific lists. Want to experiment with TeamPro but it seems to be vital in StarCo, not so in Nomads.

How many buff options until it's worth it? My current list has:
    • Jaguar Core (Fireteam Pro)
    • Hellcat Spitfire (+3 AD)
    • Tsyklon Spitfire (Marksmanship 2)
Then it adds a specialist, anti-AD ARO, allows the Tsyklon and has Baggage for missions where that is useful. I think that justifies it pretty easily.

Do you often use the higher level AD instead of coming through a table edge ? Even with the support of EVO, it's still a PH 15 roll so a 25% chance of failing

If the reward is big enough and I don't need (literally need not want) the Hellcat. I do maneuvers with DZ deployed guys with that high failure chance anyways the biggest difference is that if the Hellcat fails I'm down 0 orders for the turn and can pivot to plan B without a hitch.

Between the failed results that aren't legal to land on (AD5 puts the Spitfire in a decent spot in your DZ), falling in a safe spot anyways, your opponent missing, or making the ARM roll, that 25% fail chance is actually a lot lower.

That 75% success chance can give me a bunch of high chance shots on subsequent orders. If I suspect it would average out to my best bet I take it.

edit: I still use AD2 over half the time.

I find this guy too expensive and thus fighting for slots weith other stuff in my lists. I would (and did) consider EVO in lists based on REMs, like 2 Transductors, 2 Lunokhods, Tsyklon. Might consider him in the future with Hollow Man comming in, depending on HM's loadouts. Other than that we have HD+, usually not enough REMs to even bother mass buff. I'd rather additional Moran FO and Zondbot for someone.

I find that it really needs to do 3 things to be worthwhile for Nomads.

So I ran a Lizard + Overclock list tonight with 4 Hackers + Piwell and Meteor.

    So it was:
    - Overclock or Kaleidoscope
    - Hacking Re-rolls
    - +3 AD
    - Buff to Satlock

But when it's exactly the same cost as an Interventor HD+ I'm significantly more likely to take that if all I'm after is Supportware and the ability to take REMs.

It's pretty useful in CJC, but is a bit niche for Vanilla, where it's buffs aren't needed as much.

That may be the case. It's very useful in Corregidor if you wanted a Hacking Device anyways especially since Jaguar Core gets a lot of use out of Fireteam Pro.

Rerolling Hacking rolls (Including Cybermask!) is also a neat little benefit as it helps with those unlucky rolls.

I also keep forgetting that EVO has SWORD-1 which means it can ARO against hackers that enter your repeater net, and can join in co-ordinated hacks against enemy hackers.

Yeah that's key for me because I just want any other hacker to prevent 1v1 against my Wildcat AHD thru my repeater.

If you take Zoe and Pi-Well and two Flash Pulse Zonds then an EVO giving you overclock and boosting SatLock is pretty strong.

My experience with the EVO was: EVO + Tsyklon Feuerbach + 2 Flash Pulse remotes + Total Reaction (easy to change for another Tsyklon), in a "you need Antimaterial weapons to blow things on the table". The tsyklon survived the whole game, the Flash Pulses drew some fire (the enemy had to break some of the Burst), and then a Tomcat with Placeable Repeater managed to get in from a side and plant the repeater near 3 enemy HI troops... (I was carrying also 2 Interventor H+).

So yeah, it works, but it means to make your list around the EVO.

I generally use the EVO remote in following missions: Tic-Tac-Toe, Transmission Matrix and Deadly Dance.
In TTT because of the +3 WIP for my specialists. In the other missions I benefit hugely from the hacking support provided by the EVO device.
