No idea, but I haven't seen a lot of remotes with boarding shotguns or sniper rifles, so how about that? Maybe something that has Veteran, NWI/Dogged, or Stealth? A REM that specializes in operating behind enemy lines? Like I said, can't imagine how such a REM would look.
That's great!!! Marksmanship on a REM sniper or BSG, nice. And yes, I havent seen an infiltrating REM with climbing plus like a spider, S1, totally spy.
As for Mercenary Specialized REMs one could always say that Nomad Models are the usual choice. . . Have seen Druzes in the Wargame and Outrage Comics using Panoceanian Ones, though. . . Conceptually could be cool to have an Enterprising Merc Firm kitbashing a REM made of 50% Pan-Os Parts, and 50% Yujingese ones; maybe all scavenged from Battlefield salvaged scraps on a contested warzone borderlands (like Svarhalheima). . . That would be done primarily for the ease of recovering spare parts. . . . . . . . About Rules personally I think that a "Sort Of" Special Forces Outfit, with a rather large choice of option would be the most logical for Mercenary Specialized Remotes; with the large difference in Tactical Operations of Mercenaries there would be rather a lot of potential differentiation. . .. A "Security Consultan Firm" with Elegant well-dressed Corporate Security escorting a Megacorp CEO HVT would need a unconspicuous Camo Remote, able to follow on floors and walls of a Urban Chic Zone the "Limousine" of the protected one (so maybe armed with "Total Response" and Multi-Sniper) while the notoriously "Black Ops Specialists" like Druzes or Ikaris would need something Heavily Armoured and with a devastating choice of Weaponry (Twin Chainrifles or Light Flamers to terrorize hapless civilians; a Grenade Launcher to cope with Militians and Paramilitary Defence Forces). . . . .
And of course available to some sectorials but all Vanilla. This could also be something Rem Drivers can really enjoy, possibly opening the gates for Rem Driver characters
here is a concept a new concept of a suicide bomb rems it seems like something the Druze Ikari or haqqislaim would use :P
I would like to see something like those Doll REMs in GitS: Arise Movie, that explode when killed - like KuangShi but hackable, just Pistol and CCW, perhaps MOV 6-2 and controlled by a Hacker or control device...
I would proxy them for Karakuri in a heart beat haha, but yeah that would be a cool merc rem, their fluff can literally be REM merc body guards. Maybe, not as tough as Karakuri but can handle a shootout and once they die they explode so they can really protect their target to the very last taking out a warband.
