I have a question for you guys. As stated in previous post i will play with an Aleph player, most sure a Steel Phalanx Sectorial.
For sure he will field some myrmidon/office so i will have to handle some smoke/eclipse granade. I'll be using a Vanilla list that i put toghether following some advices gathered here on the forum. But, how to handle with those granades?
    I mean:
Should i ARO towards his granade wielder tryng to overwhel with my aro the throw of the granade (if he is in LOF while throwing it or moving) or should i ignore Him (hell' be moving him with his fireteam i guess) and focus on the other target while there are no smokes on the field (so only the first ARO since if i do not shoot at him it will be a plain PH roll to trow the granade).
And in Active turn? Should i try to focus fire on him with some coordinated order or i should try to give no ARO to him and focus the rest? I'm tryng to test some % with the dice roller and the odd is really bad.

Your list is nice and unexpecting ;)...PanOc can make a surprise 0_0... I think you're good with what you've created. I myself might play diffrently, but you have all the tools in your list.

hmm...maybe you do not need palbot, as seraph will anyway be so far or on some roof (or will tactically retreat somewhere near engineer)?
I think msv2 + mimitism can hurt a little bit. Also mines can hurt a lot steel phalanx player.

I migth try smth like this (or croc man minelayer instead of Nisse?).

Hum, in terms of range (steel phalanx will rush towards me) and Burst is not better a Black Friar (better ad mid/short range + dropbears that is actually a mine or i'm wrong?) than a Nisses. A multi Rifle + Nanopulser in my mind worked better than a Multi Sniper. Despite a Mimetism piece is aniway good. Just asking , i have to figure aout the real pro-cons to understend better the meta and the mechanics

Atm we don't know, last time we played we "randomized" missions. So i think there will be something to do (with specialist & co). We still don't know how to deal with mission and if is know in advance or not.
Plus wich is the correct link to download and see all missions?

True, should be better. Thing is ... it is easier to place in some sniper nest nisse, then find a good place for black frier (in my opinion)
Mimitism on sniper means: You place sniper as far as possible from the enemy, but at the same time to have a good view on battlefield. Perfect situation for sniper: hmg can't reach within 32" our sniper, and shooting him for ex. on 35"? (anything more then 32"). HMG in steelphalanx is a bs12 thorakitae, who will do 5 shoots on 12-9=3 (-3 distance, -3 cover, -3 mimitism)...

Your main weapon for black friar against steel phalanx is ... drop bear ;) Otherwise - you're like shooting 3x on 13bs, while he is shooting you on 2x on 12s which is very close to 50/50 chance.

This is definitely true, but i fear (and he will position his tropps to do this) that when i shoot (Black Friar or Nisses is equivalent) he will aros with Eclipse Granade, so i MUST be efficent in that shot and avoid his Eclipse Special Dodge (that will prevent the rest of shoot if he can manage to place the smoke well)

Neither Black Friar, or Nisses good for active turn. you have TAG for this. If he dodges - you shoot, if he special dodge - you put two nanopulsars. Important not to bee too close, so you've got into an engage distance. Black frier is great, because you first put a mine (drop bear), and after (the best scenario if you put mine just outside the coner) come out to shoot...hmm....or mayby not...cause you can get a chain rifle....aaah.... Your active turn killer is a tag...rest is a backup plan. Not relible, but a plan....
