I might be old and not used to this new "internet" everyone is talking about - but I was under the impression the online campaign "Asteroid Blues" is starting today, but I seem to be unable to: - find a link on the on tabletop webpage to register. - find it even mentioned o the on tabletop webpage (I just found a link to the Infinitythgame.com page - and the only link I find there brings me back to the on tabletop webpage. - find a link to the campaign here in the CB forums. This is definitely the most secretive Online campaign I ever heard of ("I ever saw" is not correct - I saw nothing right now...).
I guess it will be online later today. Probably harder to get than online than just switching a buton to ON ... (but honestly I don't know, I'm no engineer)
I don't know, this is just odd. Previous campaigns were very well advertised in advance. This one is strangely secretive. I hope there will be some info later today, I would like to participate.
This is the only thing I found (in a closed forum on facebook, btw): https://asteroidblues.warconsole.com/ But as I am not able to register, I cannot login :( @Marduck tbh this is not the first online campaign I participate. It is possible for example to do a starting page with a countdown on it or to let you register but not file in Batreps or even publish just some links that guide you to a homepage that reads: not online yet. All these examples are not really "advanced tech", I saw those things years ago.
Previous campaigns had a little more info, but this one is weird... As the plataform for the campaign is provided by OnTableTop (Beasts of War), maybe there is some problem on that end (that might be also te reason why the campaign was delayed).
I too wonder were the campaign is hiding. With a Promotion like that it is not very likley that it get much participants. All info that I get was a mentioning in one or two CB videos and the news from sep 11th on the CB website. No exciting announcment, no website that shows some fluffbites and is ready for Register today. Maybe they forgot it?
Why bother with online campaign when they prepare for us an off-line crawler, with new lovely dice and new lovely miniatures, OK?

I have to admit, that I started to lurk after the last campaign. Somewhere between the feeling that Tunguska got "cramped in", the death of the old forum and the enslaught of new/shinies ... I got lost. Just started to not care anymore. Now, this Asteroid Blues Campaign actuallyanaged what all the new armies and sectorials did not, get me out from under my rock and interested in the game again... Just to find out that is is treated even worse than the previous campaigns... Where us the hype? Where are the guest blog articles that help you prepare themed army for the even? Where are the tutorials for " how to prep your table/terrain to represent Novvy Bangkok? Where is the excitement? If it is there... It has not reached me... And I am feeling being pulled back under my rock...
There's excitement. Just seemingly not from CB. Tohaa and Haqq in particular seem very active, but I'm starting to suspect the dates must be wrong on all the material.
I mean, the Haqq mob all thought we were due to start at the start of the month. All I can say is that I am chomping at the bit for it to start.
It's definitely strange that we haven't gotten any information on it. My thoughts are that there is some sort of technical failure with the site that some poor web developer is rushing to fix.
I'm beginning to think about where we got that Sept.16th date from? was it JUST from Koni on here? While he works for CB his word isn't exactly official, they may have planned on the 16th start date, he shared that with us, and then pushed it back internally for whatever reason.
