Varuna speculation

I'm really interested to see what the Helots look like. It'll be really unique for a PanO Sectorial to have some sort of alien troop.

After the Druze I'm doubling down on my hope that Varuna gives us mixed Fireteams of Fusiliers with DroneBot Remotes (Pathfinder, Sierra, Clipper and Fugazi). Probably not the Sierra... but I think there's actually a good chance of the others now.

We might even get Mulebots!

 

Linkable remotes would be amazing. I've always wished that bots could be linkable in NCA.

An ORC that's worth taking.

 

To be clear, here's what we know will be in Varuna:

Fusiliers
Kamau
ORCs
Cutter TAG
Croc Men

Here's what we can reasonable assume:

Machinist
Tech Bee
Trauma Doc
WarCor
Dronebots (Pathfinder, Sierra, Clipper, Fugazi)
Armbots (Bulleteer, Peacemaker)
Mulebots

And here's what people expect:

Some kind of Helot Unit (likely a Warband, possibly with Frenzy, possibly with some kind of Transformation for when their pressure suits are damaged)
An AD of some kind
Possibly a MI of some kind
Possibly an elite HI or Light TAG
Fusilier mixed Fireteams with Remotes
Kamau mixed Fireteams with ORCs

 

We know we're getting Echo Bravo, we just don't know what it is yet.

 

There is also supposed to be an ORC character, rumor on some of the Spanish PanO threads is her name will be Patsy Garret, but not speaking Spanish beyond that I don’t know the source or anything more than that.
I’m hopeful we’ll see another Stingray TAG so we’ll have another unit to wait 5 years to get a sculpt for.

Make it normal, no special rules, just PanO stats, S5, cheap and with different profiles with weapons other than an HMG

I would love to see things like a MULTI Marksman Rifle for MI/HI or MULTI Spitfire for a TAG too.
Auxbots with E/Marat or Pulzar would be fun too. Or even just having access to E/Mauler and Stun Grenades/LGL.

 

How's this for speculation? Mimitism, aquatic terrain, visors, and above-average BS. If you want fun toys, do what I did: play something other than PanO. ;-)
