Better, yet more expensive Diplomatic Delegate. Cheap specialist with a shotgun. Veteran seems like something tacked on. For me shotgun is the most important part.
I don't mind the Tensho. A cheapish wip 14 specialist operative to join your core link. Shotgun adds another tool to your link teams arsenal.
I suppose it costs the same as the cheapest specialist Nox, but even so. Couldn't they have given it Number2 or something? it's supposed to be a coordinator type unit.
Yeah, it definitely could use No2, but eh, we got what we've got. It might be bland, but it's still cheap and useful. And the rest of new SEF more than makes up for it when it comes to being exciting.
I came here to make this exact thread. They could have released a Boarding Shotgun + Specialist Operative Nox trooper for essentially the same effect, seems pretty redundant. In any list running a nox core I would run it, but just... did it really need its own profile?
To me it's completely uninspiring, I genuinely would have preferred it didn't exist. It's not bad and adding it to a Nox team is fine. It just feels so... Irrelevant. Just weird.
Also if it was just a nox profile then you could clearly just spam Nox BSG, this way you're limited to 1, it's not exactly going to set the world on fire but it's actually quite thematic.

But that has nothing to do with the Tohaa Delegate having a Civvie profile. They've had that profile for years but there hasn't been an event/rules to use it.
It was in a mission in Campaign Paradiso where you had to find its escape pod and then CivEvac it off the battlefield. I can't speak for the Tech Bee or Tensho though.
