Hi guys, ixd like to starting playing morat. I am willing to buy the morat action pack, the morat dire foes box, rodok and daturazi box and the expansion pack n4 Then i'll buy bultrak and other troops What i like to know is if my first purchases are all playable or some troops are never to see the fields Thanks
MAF is in excellent shape after its N4 rework, and pretty much everything in their roster is playable. At worst some units will be more situational than others. I recommend checking DaRedOne's excellent guide, if you haven't already. As for your purchases - I'd swap Rodok box for Fireteam Pack, the one with Suryats. They are a lynchpin unit for many of our fireteams. Rodoks are seen as subpar by many, but I personally like them. I'd just get them later.
Tarlok and Fireteam pack along with Kornak seem to be the items most gravitate after the Action pack.
I find it hard to build lists without at least a few Hungries (Gakis and Pretas). Either as cheap orders with an Oznat or to fill the last few points and as guard dogs in your dz.
