Spec-ops does no count toward unit ava. Bug or feature?

Isn't it technically a different unit? All it has from the Fusiliers are the baseline attributes.

According to the new PDFs and the spec-ops rules on page 211 of Daedalus's Fall, it's a Fusilier with the "Infinity Spec-Ops" special skill.

If you look on the PDFs, the spec-ops are listed in the same way FO is. If you look on page 211 of Daedalus Falls it refers to it as a special skill; I can't link to that because it's not on the wiki.

It is on Wiki, actually, and I couldn't find any mention of Spec-Ops being counted towards the baseline trooper's AVA, hence the doubt.

Which PDF are you referring to specifically?

    That's a blank page you've linked to.

The PDF is the Daedalus' Fall profiles PDF that updated all eligible troop types to have a Spec-Op option.

I've screenshot the Brawler as an example.

The profiles PDF, although currently this format is only used for Brawlers. I recalled it being more pervasive. I don't know if I imagined it, or if I was looking at a different document.

Excellent, thanks! I knew there was another doc.

    4.2 profiles - Brawler only: https://assets.infinitythegame.net/downloads/profiles/en/v4.2/profiles.pdf
Daedalus profiles - all relevant units: https://assets.infinitythegame.net/...l_profiles/en/v1.0/daedalus_fall_profiles.pdf

@colbrook Right, I guess that's because I got the link from an app I use to view the Wiki. I have fixed the link, so now it leads to the correct page. It's really weird though, as I don't see these profiles for Tohaa Trinomial's Kamaels or Spiral Corps' Taagmas, but I'd also really like to know if Spec-Ops count towards the baseline unit's AVA, since Taagma have limited availability.
