AVE 1. Scoring Is there mistake? each round: 1p if a tie. 3p by having more quadrants, 1p by having datatracker in dominant q. it gives total of (3+1)*4 points = 12. What is the right scoring for this scenario.
i don't follow your math. you cannot both tie and have more. so ignore the 1pt for a tie. Having more is 2pt, having the datatracker in a quadrant is 1pts (and he cannot be in multiple quadrant as you only have 1 datatracker). So 3pts per game round, and the game last only 3 rounds, not 4, so 3*3=9. then you have the classified to bring it to a nice 10.
Whitch version of rules you were looking at? The one I downloaded today has 3p for having more each round and 1p for DT each round. That is where the math comes from. That is what I want to clarify.
I was using the comlog app for android which has the ITS 10 missions. Looking at the actual PDF, version 1.0 you are right, it does say 3 pts for dominate more, + 1 for datatracker, which would be 4*3=12. edit: it also absent from the FAQs 1.4 :(
You max out at 10 OP. So even if you got the full 13 you'd still only get awarded 10. Does make it easier to get high OPs though. (Yes I think there's probably a mistake, but it doesn't create a negative situation just something to be aware of in tournaments).
