Lore wise, I don't see what could take the place of an MRRF or USAriadna rework if they want to release some new ariadna stuff. Unless they creat a new nation within ariadna. I hope something happen for them in 2020 with the new N4. @SpecOP6903 what is actually you question ? Latest developpement in the fluff ? Or just the basic fluff of Merovingia and MRRF ?
It was latest development, I knew that they had been benched and had suffered a heavy defeat, I guess I was making sure that there were some survivors.
During the Gen Con Q&A Bostria was very clear that Corvus Belli do not consider FRRM, SAA, Tohaa, and QK "Retired", more of a "temporary hiatus of production" and that they will return in the future.
Rodina including matr is bigger than usarf, merovingia or caledonia, and almost as big as tartary. It's the only new "nation" that they could add. They would be kazaks with some extra tech. To be fair I don't like the idea, if it happens they would recycle some units like the merc companies. I much rather see a remake of the frenchies. Ariadna doesn't need new factions in my opinion. The thing is, what will come first a revision of Caledonia or a remake of MRRF At some point they expected it to be done with lux humbra. I guess that plan has changed time ago.
He said that he personally would like to see a resculpt, and there are a lot of people in CB that are fans of the characters (they have a massive painting of them at their HQ after all). But that he didn't have any info to share about a resculpt. You could take this as not being able to give away too much, especially under the scrutiny of his babysitters from marketing, or it could just be that he would like a resculpt, but he doesn't control production schedules.
