Geckos are in a bad spot, got their spot stolen because some people nagging, late n2, so now they will get it difficult to regain it. They need more "TAGish" extras, but I don't know what could be enough. At now, they are a HI with and extra wound that can be possesed, but with not a the punch for its cost.

Problem with the gecko is that it is competing with the Kriza and the Taskmaster.

Kriza is a better mini to win ftf. Better than almost anything in the game.

Task is a more versatile generalist.

Gecko is more resilient, but not by far. And is extra vulnerable because of possession. And do not have really good weapon options. Trading his combis for multis would help, but only if it did not increase its cost, because 8 pts extra would be a coup the grace on the unit.

I think we will see a general rework of TAGs, tbh, as ALL of them need a reason to exist and not be just expensive paperweights.

Gecko's work very well as a defensive model that can hold down a table edge once you drop him in suppressive fire. But yes, it does feel kind of awkward having to bend over backwards to get use out of what could be a center piece model, especially when compared to the easy-button Kriza.

I've been playing Geckos close to every game for about a year now and I don't think they NEED improvement. They have room for it but they are very good in Corregidor.

They don't compare to any profile that isn't a specialist.

You can say their value is even stronger with all the Jammers out there the Bolt just happens to ignore.

Rumour mill in overdrive about tag changes on 4chan, if any of it is true (some of it usually is) then Corregidor is in a good spot with the relatively inexpensive tags next season

For N4 I really hope hacking gets more useful all around, especially when there's no hacking targets. Some kind of self buffs like KHD with cybermask.
Self buffs would be easier to balance than buffing friendly troops.
Hackers could use a program to discover camos in zone of control without LOF. It's hard to believe that LI and MI units don't have something to hack.

Tunguska is a hacking tour de force but agains Ariadna and the like that force is wasted. Also I feel something went "wrong" when Tunguska was designed.
I believe too many weaknesses were incorporated, less flexible links, no wild cards, weaker midfield presence, no camo infiltrators, weaker specialists,
no warband (not counting Perseus), no MSV2, no chain of command (a nomad thing, but It would be nice to use Lt Kriza more aggressively.
I think from all of the new wave of sectorials Tunguska is the weakest (not counting N2). Varuna, OSS, Shasvastii, TAK, IA and Ramah are all quite stronger
especially the first three I mentioned which are top sectorials atm.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying give Tunguska everything but some minor tweaks would go a long way.
Grenzers desperately need to be upaded with the new formula.
Hacklers could use some aditional profiles, maybe forward observer with FD2, minelayer profile and so on, to balance it out with vanilla some profiles could be Tunguska only.
Zondnautika FO would be also welcome. The AHD is quite expensive and vulnerable.
    Allow puppetmaster to aro.
Hollow Men harris with Kriza is useless, at least make it two HM and Kriza.
Kriza Mk12 is too expensive, drop the visor.
Allow to take bounty hunters without Miranda.
I the like to see some new remotes or addition profiles to existing rems.
    Drop the SWC on meteor.
    Spektr minelayer (Tunguska only).
I really feel an additional troop is mission in the line up but I'm not exactly sure which role. A cheaper skirmisher maybe. I'd love a WB but I know it's not gonna happen.

I also play TAK and difference is huge, it's so well rounded sectorial with amazing troop profiles and synergies.

These are just some quick fixes for the sectorial I'd like to see.

Could you please elaborate on this?

When the Kriza is backed up by 5 - 6 securitate with that is more than enough to mitigate LoL if he gets killed somewhere up the table.

With the hacking and repeater support available to TJC protecting it against enemy hackers is trivial, unless you are using it to missile to the other side of the table in which case you know it is going to die and you shouldn't care.

I’d like to see all tags Keep the fatality they gained this season. It would make sense for them to have a slightly better version of the gun carried by smaller peoples.

That was actually last season IIRC, they've already kept it once.

Hah, this gives me an idea. Bundle up minelayer with cybermines, that'll at least let them see some play in setting up mind games.

I've tryed it with spec ops a few times, didn't work as good as I though (and I didn't had much hopes for it)

I don't want to limit my options in an already limited sectorial, especialy when others are geting CoC like candy.

A lot of times you just want a button pusher and FO would do it safer and 5-6 points cheaper.

I would never use a Spektr Minelayer if it was TJC only. It would give away the position of my Spektr and everyone would know the camo marker is a mine because TJC doesn't have infiltrators other than Spektrs, which will show up as TO camo. You would have to play your Spektr far back to at least make it lok like a Heckler, and at that point you are better off taking a Puppetmaster Minelayer.

Meteor Zond is 1 SWC because it can be very powerful to drop a sensor bot to paint targets and send in Smart Missiles or Spec fire weapons. I don't expect to see that changed.

no, it would not be changed, but it is not because the sensor, is because the repeater. All our fordwar repeaters except for the zero pay SWC

I wrote Spektr minelayer in combination with hackler additional profiles FD2(my wishes).

In theory but in practice spending 1 SWC on meteor is huge haven't seen meteor action in a long time. Streloks (FD2)+ k9 sensor is nice tool box without SWC.

12" normal deployment zone + 4" Heckler FD1 + 8" Minelayer range - 1" mine base size gives you 23" deplyment zone vs 24" of no-roll infiltration range (or ~20", if you deploy the mine at about 45 degree angle from Spektr instead of parallel to table side). That's not "far", in my opinion. In case of Puppetmaster - Minelayer skill is not private info, so it would only somewhat work if you put your Heckler within 8" of Puppetmaster.

Also, remember that you can use Hidden Deployment with Minelayer.

Well, I was thinking along the lines of giving Minelayer to the troops that have cybermines for free (for mind games purposes, since as far as I'm aware, all of them have the option to be deployed as markers/HD). With specops it kinda is a wasted effort, since that one 1) makes clear that he dropped a mine; 2) has common mines (which are much better anyway).

beware, the mine from a minelayer will be put in the same area. If the heckler was a minelayer, his mines will have the same depth
