    Short Question:
I know motorcycles can't use Climb. But the general movement rules state stairs and ladders are useable without using climb.

I found a FAQ question stating that motorcycles can use specifically stairs because they do not need climb. But this should theoretically also apply to ladders because they also do not need climb, right?

It seems a bit silly to me to see motorcycles drive up walls but i can't find anything that tells me this is not allowed.

Yes: provided that the ladder can be used by an S4 model.

    MOVE: STAIRS AND LADDERS
Those pieces of scenery representing stairs and ladders allow to move vertical or diagonal surfaces using the Move Skill at no cost, without declaring Jump or Climb.

Thanks for the fast answer that clears things up a bit.

How exactly do i know what ladders are usable by what silhouette? I can't find rules for that.

It's part of the "base must be fully supported during movement" assumption - with most ladders being 1" wide or narrower and thus not supporting a 55mm base.
(printed on ladders, like all the card terrain don't count.).

Since movement "UP" the ladder is with the base perpendicular to the surface anyway.

Generally the 'what sized base can use a particular laddder' is usually a pre-game discussion. RAW it's what Chromedog said: but an awful lot of ladders simply can't be used under those terms.

Yeah that's what i thought. Under the base size assumption alot of "designed-for-infinity" ladders do not even allow S2 troopers.

Keep in mind that when moving up a vertical surface a trooper should have it's base flat against the vertical surface. If whatever ladder you are using to make this vertical movement legal isn't big enough to hold that entire base, you can't use it. This is just general movement rules.

Of course as mentioned pre-game agreements can make scenery work however you need it to.

Neither do they give enough space for an AD troop to land on top... kinda jarring XD
