There's many brands and varieties of this, the three best known are "Oyumaru", "Instant Mold" and "Blue Stuff", but all it is is a soft thermoplastic material, i've heard from locals that they got some of those cheap mouth protectors from boxing, melted them in hot water and they did exactly the same thing, but having gotten easy access to "blue stuff" on my store i never bothered to check.
This weekend I was lucky and got an old Nomad HMG thus I could give my beloved Reaktion Zond a proper Weapon!
Tried melting some old teeth protectors but couldnt get them quite to the same level of malleability as oyumaru. Not that I tried very hard but i'd recommend getting some of the stuff sold for modelling.
Bagpipes - Note this weapon is forbidden by the Concilium Convention and its use will be penalized by the international courts. Very nice Appleseed conversions! Ariadna Intel SpecOps blister has a small chainrifle in it. Very nice! Fluorescent paints will go better over a white base/primer But that's a really slick idea! Oyama, headswapped with a model that has a goatee? For my Ishikawa conversion, I started with the Najjarun Engineer, head-swapped to a bearded head, and glued a spare weapon from hasslefree at an angle across his chest to look like the rifle was on a 3-point sling. Doing the Head Swap basically did all the work to de-Haqq-ify the model.
With Tunguska on the horizon I wanted to make a multi rifle version of the Kriza. I was waiting to see what the new starter box pose was going to be before committing to this one but the HMG seems to be harder to convert. So here they are, the multi rifle is a bit of a frankenstein. Made with parts from Taskmaster HMG, Nomad multi rifle and Nomad HMG. Sent from my PRA-LX1 using Tapatalk
So nice conversions there! I add my second spetsnaz here. I wish I had a true kazak weapon, something like Tachanka's, but the m60 will do the job
Nice one. But to be true Kazak - you need to throw away capitalist m60 and find PKM or Pecheneg :) I think it's possible in 1/35 scale
Haha you are so right! This is incongruous for a spetsnaz! I had that m60 from a modern weapons kit, as the only machine gun in the box. Some time ago I saw a soviet-like weapons kit with very nice toys, but didn't bought it, and now I can't find it in my habitual shops, regretfully. I hope some day I find the proper weapon for this little kazak killer. Fortunately, the kit I own have several ak-47 to properly equip some of my other vodka drinkers (probably you've seen it from this thread): Cheers!
No need for such modernist devices. Babushka's Maxim (which she used in Stalingrad) will do just fine.
Hello, Still working on my Guardians of Corregidor. Sorry, the quality of the pictures is not good, as is my sculpt skill. There is Pedro Kalamu, alias Nyota Rey, alias the Intruder Extraordinaire. Next, is Mandrax, who is supposed to bring a Karakuri leg back to P-Kat in order to fulfil the mission, but decided it would make a good blungeon (McMurrough proxy) Then comes Sprinkhaan. She's from Bakunin (3rg0 Module), but the team "adopted" here. Like all people of her Module she is a competent hacker, specialised in IA, who build her hacking device herself (Valeria proxy). And the last one is a Moran Hunter, with his Koalas. Still a lot of work for the Guaradians to do (like a blue Moran who commands his Koalas by whistling , or a blue Bandit woman...), so maybe more pictures soon, and maybe some painted mini too!
I dont know about you guys, but I seriously hate it when my heavy weapon specialists run around flailing swords, axes and whatnot instead of actually firing their blunderbusses. So when i decided it is time for my feuerbach sogarat to get a not so little brother, first thing i did was to repose the damned idiot to hold his gun like he should be. This was the boring part. But that left me with an unused, fuckhueg glaive. and when i came to think of it i always wanted a daturazi... I hope you like him. (just a little oversized, i like to think he was a bit overzealous when it came to adding nutritional supplements to his porridge)
You just sculpted a completely new miniature for the axe ... That's amazing, and what a dynamic pose ... Wow
