I agree that the Anathematic model doesn't need to change. And I would probably not like the new version, because to me, every drone/tag looks too much like the others. But fluff wise, the Anathematic is a buffed Charontid. So it would be normal that these two look like each other. "The Anathematics are Charontids comprehensively modified with concealment devices and advanced camouflage systems."
That is the main reason we will see a new Anna model. It has to match or look similar to the new Charontid model that is going to be released soon. So those of you who like or enjoy the old Anathematic model better grab one while you can because someday down the road you will see a new dossier of Anna that is in the new Drone/T.A.G. design.
I like it so far. The color scheme reminds me of an insect instead of an alien but I do think works out. At least we get to see more of what the Ur side of the Combined forces look. Are the arms the reason you are not convinced of the model yet?
I love it, i am really happy they are moving away from weapon integration. In my head easy to swap, modular weapons seems like a better way to go even for something as advanced as the EI. I also feel they look way more terrifying now!
Eh, the arms and... I dunno, the angle looks like the legs belong to a different model, or even a different picture. I'm a BIG fan of integrated weapons too. Finally, the colours. The yellow black and red look crazy given the angle and the other issues I have with the image. However, just this second look here after a few min, the colours might be growing on me. I need a 360°.
Same here. While I do like integrated weapons I think having two hands is better in certain situations. Hope we get the upcoming video for the model soon. The color scheme does grow on you but good news is you can paint the beast in any color you wish. What are you Combined forces look like?
As cool as integrated weapons are, it just makes more sense for them not to have them. Why rebuild a whole new body for a different application when all you need to do is give it a new gun?
My thoughts exactly. Integrated weapons are a neat idea and concept but they lack a flexibility that bare hands always bring to situations. Still nothing is stoping those of us who wish to edit/convert the new Charontid to have a built in weapon on their person.
For a modder, sure! :). These are vat-grown biomachines, though. It's probably a little harder than "swap one arm for another." Especially when compared to just a gun. There's also the fact that hands, in general, are just more useful in more situations than a plasma rifle... though not by much, I'll admit.
Yeah I always thought integrated weapons ala the old Charontid would probably be quite impractical in a war situation. 2 hands might be needed at times, traversing ruined buildings and the like. I also like the scheme. Need more pics of different angles though!
Just about to post this. My only nit pick is they need to squat more and armour up the butt. :tearsofjoy: Looks good though I really like the new cohesive designs.
Mora armour around. Those hands are atrocious. And I have no idea why it has stuff sticking out from the neck. But the head and the gun and the legs are awesome. So I guess 50-50?
