No, not all the precincts were blown up. Theres some mention of bombings but not of what type. They could have been suicide bombings for all I know. What is mentioned is ISS personnel being hunted down while off-duty. It now makes even more sense what the Japanese area still within Yu Jing is now under martial law. If you have to worry about bombings and assassination attempts it makes sense. Also, its not one sided. ISS units did fight back to good effect. Theres a big difference between the Kemptai targeting ISS units when they are off-duty, at home around family and friends and ISS on duty, hunting down the terrorists. As far as I know, facebook doesn't exist in the Infinity setting so I'm not sure what your talking about. Any fluff posted on the IRL facebook would be from mayanet fluff.
Steel Wall involved Pan O interceptors shooting down all the Yu Jing fighters in a particular strike force, (this mention of it is 20 days before O-12 approval) then another one with Pan O blowing up all the supply and support craft for another strike force. I don't see any references to loved ones or families of the ISS being killed. The only references to off duty ISS are ones where they are persecuted and arrested. The Kempetai are not gunning civilians down in the streets. I see no mention of suicide bombers anywhere. Kuang Shi are strangely absent from the whole book. I would have expected a raid [successful or not] on The Dungeon to try to rescue all the political prisoners there. I would have also have accepted the fact that these people are angry if there was any mention, even just ONE, of the ISS being angry about their casualties. This is supposed to be the elite and disciplined fist of the Emperor. If there was a quote from the Emperor saying "Go forth and kill these traitors. Use any means necessary!" would make this a reasonable course of action. It also doesn't help that the division attacking a city just randomly shows up on a blockaded world after the Pan O "Steel Wall" is in effect. This division is important enough for a name, can we at least get a backstory for it that explains why its killing all these Yu Jing citizens? EDIT 2: I thought I objectively said that ISS did not fight back to good effect AT ALL. the only time they didn't completely job things was the fact that they helped the Invincible Army make a beach head in one of the crisis zones. Everything else was things like Spoiler "hey, we blew up the emperor!" [next day] it was actually a trick, the emperor got away on a nomad transport. or Hey, our ISS destroyer is attacking these stations and after telling them to stand down, they do! Way to go, having Kibo station surrender without causing serious damage! [next entry] The Ikari Company show up in a modified freighter and kill the destroyer. in short, ISS accomplish NOTHING. Are you reading the same book as me? I see no reference to ANY Kempetai atrocities against the Yu Jing. They participate in a surprise attack against Yu Jing on August 3, but this was after they had declared independence (A Pearl Harbor attack as intended, not like in WW2 when the war dec was delivered late), and only against military (ISS) targets. They also sabotage a couple of airfields well after the fighting had started. Can you give me just ONE page number of the Kempetai killing Yu Jing civilians in Uprising? Since it seems we are allowed to say whatever we want for spoilers, I'll go all in with the atrocities committed by the "ISS". Note that the reasons for any of these happening are ever explained. Spoiler The ISS however is blowing up a dam (which is somehow pinned on a lone ninja. WORST NINJA EVER. Why was there? How did he get caught? How do they know he was working for the ISS?), damaging life support of a space station in a firefight (which ISS held the whole life support section for 5 days without venting the atmosphere. Why were they there?), and having an "Elite and disciplined" Crane Agent tell the reporters to film the bodies of civilians he is killing (with no mention why he is doing this, or going against high command's wishes to do this) edit: fixing quote tags

Which is terrible, because everything in the book relates to Yu Jing one way or another. I wish they just called it Codex NA2. I bought it under the assumption it would be more of an uprising source book than a JSA stroke mag. No, they sold INFINITY Uprising
JSA are terrorists. PanO are invaders. Yu Jing are the good guys. Nomads should be ashamed (possible ALEPH infiltration?).
I'm sorry you wasted your money. They should have made it more clear its a book providing the flavor fluff for the NA2 armies.
You know, if they have two versions of the book; one from the JSA perspective and one from the ISS perspective, that would explain so much. Spoiler It would also be AWESOME.
I'm more sorry they wasted their opportunity. I don't think anyone feels like there is not enough Japanese wank in this literal bukakke of a book, so if they maybe swapped two pages of the beat-up for some sustained writing from the Yu Jing perspective there'd be a lot less upset. Honestly, are there even people out there who would not buy into the Japanese if somewhere in the book they didn't inflict massive casualties on Yu Jing every time they tried something?
Nomads are odd in this book, most of the actions of Nomads personnel is from Starco (who is "not" Nomads) and the analysis feeds of Nomads are more intrusive to the Japanese side, for example black hand trying to find out who from the Japanese side wanted the Japanese hero dead and why.
I understand that you think that anything that CB does is correct both in terms of expediency and morality, but I was addressing everyone who doesn't think that CB has the moral authority one usually reserves for a divinity. Just because CB has done something in the past doesn't mean it's the correct thing to do.
The implication is that the IS conducted themselves in a manner indistinguishable from the rage infected monkeys from 28 Days Later and would therefore have comparable capacity to express their perspective in writing.
