As this just got released it got me thinking, would cb do two new sectorals built around the same units in a one year period? My instinct says no meaning one of three things, 1. Triumvirate isnt utilizing druze. 2. Triumvirate isnt conming this year. 3. I am wrong, and this is the year of the druze. What do other people think?
What if this is the triumvirate? Why risk tohaa lives when you can pay the humans to kill each other?
I have seen absolutely nothing that would indicate we will see triumvirate in 2018. And it is a Tohaa sectorial, so this Druze Faction won't have any effect on it.
Presumably the next book is in 2018, as all the sectorial are coming out next year. So we would see Triumvirate then.
I recall Bostria saying that they had no plans to release the next book in 2018. This was the same time that he said they would be releasing some of the sectorials early in 2018.
I think that indeed they will be using Druze, the other mercenary option are the Kaplan (and they are mostly Haqq only). That would also make sense from a marketing PoV: get this box, get this blister, and you have 5 miniatures for three different factions... now buy those! XD Triumvirate will come when it's ready, remember we will get some earthshacking reveals!
I think this Druze Sectorial was mainly spawned from the Manga. It got their creative juices flowing and before they realized it they had a nice little army they wanted to hand their players that had been begging for a Merc army. I doubt it will have any effect on the Triumvirate. What it will have an effect on is those of us who were silly and bought a Scarface while he was available to Tohaa and those of us who also bought Druze thinking Tohaa might be able to use them in the future... Basically CB suckered me into buying into a new Sectorial Army before I knew it was gonna happen...
