From a RAW point of view, is there anything that forbid you to civevac the ennemy HVT ? We played Highly Classified yesterday and got kidnnaping as an objective I used Achilles to CiEvac the ennemy HVT, bring it in my DZ then CivEvac it with an MK5. I think all of it is OK but I would like an other opinion
Although remember that if Achilles goes Impetuous due to Frenzy the Civvie desynchronises and can't try and re-sync.
I wish scenarios with Designated Target had a clause that if you roll a Kidnapping for your classified objective you could reroll...
Frenzy popping into Impetuous is not a cancelation clause of desynching with a civilian. If achilles legally synched prior and never breaks coherency he can rage away and be fine.
Wouldn't work - you're still in Engaged state if you're in BtB with an Unconscious enemy, you only receive a permission to declare Move (to get out of BtB and thus cancel Engaged). All other restrictions on what you can declare while Engaged are still in effect, so you cannot declare CivEvac. Edit: although after checking the actual skill, it does have that -3 modifier for Hostile civilian... Still lacks any exceptions to Engaged state restrictions, though.
It was ruled that you can do the actions necessary for Classified objectives while engaged with the HVT (presumably including Synchronize Civilian).
I forgot that but Achilles was in the DZ with the HVT near my MK5 when he turn impetuous so no arm done but I will remember it for next time So, conclusion based on post above : yes I can use any trooper who can CivEvac to bring the ennemy HVT to my DZ where a Veteran/Elite/CoC will take over to do the Kidnapping classified. Thanks for the confirmation
