Excellent Sheets for anyone who posted. . . @Beodren . . . Seems to be good for anything, will check everything when can and suggest further tweakings; I could assure that Close Combat will be paramount importance and as one of the TWO "Non-Pilot" kind of Melee Specialist it will be very important BOTH in Dogface (when going "Full Werewolf" is impractical) then in Dogwarrior (when there will be SERIOUS risk to face a kind of Adversaries optimized for going against the Heavy Exoarmours). . . As for the "Signature Weapons" do You prefer the Family Heirloom Claymore to be something lighter that could be RELATIVELY easily wield even in "Puny Dogface Form" or a sharpened "Teseum Slab" that a full-warform Dogwarrior could employ to cut T.A.G.s in half ?? And what about the "Signature Gun" the Ultra-Molotok / Barrett-MK12 / Antitank Rifle; do You like more something quite Precise and Steady in single shots, a sort of "Oversized Assault Rifle" or a well-balanced compromise in-between. . .?? @Danger Rose . . . Excellent stuff and a very versatile set of Skills (both Combat and Non-Combat); as I said the "Gear" acquired with Lifepaths will be even more "Powerful Signature Heirlooms" than usual; I would WARMLY suggest to "change" the Heavy Pistol for a "Sawed-Off Light Shotgun" shaped as a Rifle-Clip Pistol (essentially the "Gong" created by Masamune Shirow and employed very often by "Deunan Knute", the main character of "Appleseed" and "Batou", the second most important personage of "Ghost In The Shell", in the "G.I.T.S. Innocence" Movie); not only could be easily charged with pretty, flaming "Dragonsbreath Shells" but also with many, many other useful Cal.12 / .00 "Slugs" (there exist even "Mini-Rocket" Gyrojet Ammo, created for optimized "Void Combat" that will extend the Range to a comparable Ariadnan Longbarrell Revolver Handcannon to the usually short Shotgun Shells). . . About the MSV-1 Sensors why not have them "Part" of the Package of the "Thermal Sensitive" Eyes. . .?? A "T.O. Camo" Operative that could sense OTHER T.O. Camo could be very useful indeed; not only to counter other "Stealth Specialist" Enemies, but also @oldGregg "Fremen Technomedic / Hacker" employ and advanced "Stealth Cloak" over its "Dune Stillsuit" and so, being a Vanguard Scout, could WARMLY (pun intended. . .!!) rather appreciate to not be torched by Allies. . .!! @inane.imp. . . Seems everything good also for You; for the "Mechanic Specialist" Armour the "Waldo Servo-Arm" that I proposed is more useful than a mere "Ancillary Drone / Zondbot" because You are in the position to repair the other Pilots T.A.G.s even where there is NO OTHER Tech Support and with Your Gecko properly braced, You could EVEN raise-winch the enormous "Heavy Tank" of @loricus SHOULD the unthinkable happen and it being downed, or simply trapped by a fragile floor. . .
@stevenart74 I'd suggest seeing how it goes? If we think we need a Tech/Recovery TAG then I can always jury-rig it in game. And I'd never refer to a Zondbot as 'merely' anything, LAIs have feelings too :P
@stevenart74 1)For the blade I would like it to be heavy and unwieldy for most people, but well, the truest of Scots. So I guess that would be relatively wieldy? Still I would talk about over meter long blade, So I think it damage tag, even if not cleave it 2)As for the weapon, when I suggested molotok with a slightly bigger caliber due to that weapons grat renown of efficiency and being quite cover medium and short distance, while keeping high rate of fire. A weapon that can provide covering fire and while in dog face form allow proper support, while acting as a "sidearm" in dog warrior form. So I say high rate of fire, medium distance, T2 Ammunition for maximum hurt! Caliber doesn't need to be of the deadliest sort. But I take for some missions I will be able to pick up more "usual" gear like sniper rifles?
T2 Spitfire for the Molotok? Unless @loricus has the Molotok's rules in the Ariadna sourcebook. Then just a T2 Molotok will probably be sufficient: T2 Ammo is kinda absurd. Teseum Chopper would work well for the Claymore. It basically does everything you're suggesting (you need >8 Phys to use it 1 handed, LOTS of damage, particularly in fluffy-mode).
Only thing it misses would be a nice Parry status. Cause I believe a well hardened slab of teseum would likely be able to deflect a blow or two. I would like to see it as compromise between chopper and sword. T2 Molotok would be very much perfect for me too, as it was noted, T2 ammo is sheer murder.
Teseum Chopper with Parry 2 added seems in-line with the rest of the weapons floating around the Minotaurs. Particularly as an 'heirloom' item.
Confirm that parry 2 will be around what I thought. The Clan of Alistair have a relativel lenght of Dogwarriors, and I believe the Human Grandfather has made the Dogface Child (Alistair's Father) wield and try-out the enormous "Horsecleaver Materia-Blade" as soon as was possible, maybe even BEFORE Puberty (that I believe "Trigger" the first Dogwarrior Transformation). . . Then from Father Dog-Ball Player to the Son that ALWAYS practiced Combat Military skills. . . So, also for the Gun, we will go with stuff that is easily wielded 1handed by an enormous, buff Dogwarrior with an Advanced Cybernetic Arm, but that are comparable heavy and unwieldly in Dogface human-size. . . . .!!!
@stevenart74 Then we are set. I will add Teseum Claymore with aforementioned traits and try to get my hands on Ariadna book. I am very much good to go. Admittedly it is worth noting, good old grandpa took a long time to truly accept his son. Let me add that to character sheet and I am very much, good to go.
Thanks, I corrected the Stats not to have confusion. Heheh! Yes, I'm sure no one wants to be unde Friendly Fire (bad pun definetly intended!). I also removed the MSV form the Gear (the AR Eyes are among her Implants), and changed the Heavy Pistol for the Light Shotgun. "Hahahahaha! Nice one, Chief. Wait, you're serious? You can't be serious! Chief! Chieeeeef!!!"
O.K. I wait for the other Sheets that are still lacking and then will see how properly balance anything in the best manners. . . Tomorrow I have some Job Assignements that could be a pain in the rearside, but as said previously IT DOES NOT MATTER if the P.C. Sheets are ALL 100% Made at the start. . . The first interactions will be between the Players with Themselves / the Players with Friendly N.P.C. Colleagues / Players' Reaction to the Descriptions of Places and Spots that I will make. . . Rolls with be most to Observes / sense something "Not In Plain View" and Social Skills employed to feel the trustworthyness / honesty of a Non-Player Character of the Minotaurs so it will be more of a matter of "Generic Rolled Successes for a well written Phrase" rather than "Momentum X spent BEFORE Talent Y make Re-Roll Failed Dice with Difficulty lowered by Objetc Z". . .!! Let's make a "Roll Call" of anyone that is AT LEAST able to start with Introductive Roleplay for "establishing the Game Campaign Setting" : @inane.imp ? @loricus ? @oldGregg ? @Danger Rose ? @Beodren ? Let Me know all Your preferred Timelines and P.B.P.-Schedule Format. . . . .??
@stevenart74 This Character sheet should be final edit: https://www.dropbox.com/s/e7kexyjgwx2aheg/AlistairMcElliot.pdf?dl=0 As for me, I am very much ready, I live in +1 timezone and have a pretty stable 8 to 4 job, leaving me with free time in the afternoons.
GTG, I'm Australian so GMT+10. I'll be on in the evening (0800-1400GMT) for a full post, but can usually manage quick updates during the day (2100-0800GMT, although I can't promise what the formatting will look like as it'll be on my phone).
+5 Timezone in my case. I do have a good mobile connection and get notifications of this thread. I think I'm ready to go. My only concern is I never got the Skills of the Geist done. Although, to be honest Echo is not absolutely necesary for starters.
Pacific US -8 here. I'm a chronic insomniac so I have no idea what times I'll be up. I'll be ready though just need to transfer to a pdf.
O.K. so We are just awaiting for the input by @Golem2God (that also still necessitates the Ruleset; while He can start with the Quickstart I'm searching for some "Compressed / Revised" Versions of the abridged "Player's Guide" that SHOULD be Free Online to give to Him, but did not managed to find as for now). . . We have wildly divergent Timelines but this should not be too much of an hassle. . . I think that I could easily try to write some "Interactive Combat Posts" when action is yet full-on so that EVEN IN MIDDLE FLIGHT awaiting the necessary actions of a Player will not stop the flow of a game (should the need arise) and so We could manage everything. . . @Beodren; I have seen that You have the A.P. Rifle between Your starting gear, as Ariadnan S.M.G. goes imagine it as a sort of A.K.S. "Sawed-Off kalashnikov" that could be a little unbalanced to wield and shoot full-auto in Dogface (firmly held with BOTH Hands and with folding stock extended) but that in Dogwarrior will be easy to fire 1-hand as a small Assault Pistol. . . @Danger Rose; Your "Signature Light Shotgun" will be relatively easy to shoot even 1-handed and also I'm checking to have You a better Reload Factors; instead of a "Sawed-Off Ithaca" (where the Tubular Magazine need to insert 1 Shell a time) it would have easy time to detach as spent / not-useful clip and replace with another (and this could give You also a "Multi" +1 Factor, should You have another Clip ready and available) and also offer You the possibility to load a Single "Special Slug" quickly on the open firing chamber through the ejection port (as yet possible with our R.W. Shotguns), albeit with a reduced Reload1 factor, allowing the toggling between Your beloved "Incendiary "Dragonsbreath" W.P. Slugs and other more prosaic Shells better for the moment. . . . Similar Options would be equal for any kind of these "Tactical Gong" kind of Light Shotguns available on request by the Minotaurs Armoury but the one of "Pyro Catgirl" (or also "Hell-Kitty" to not to be confused for Nomads Orbital Paratroopers !!) is slighly better as befitting "Heirloom Signature Wargear". . . Did not understand if You put the MSV in the Gene-Enhanced Eyes or not; also the "Cat Nails" are specialized kind of "Mono-Talons, lethal but fragile" or rather some kind of "Hard Duty Stuff" with less damage factor but more sturdy. . .?? For all the others the Sheets are ALMOST perfect (I'm busy checking ALL MINUTIAE when I can) even for a "Simulated Shootout Training" with cheap drones (even if it will NOT happen immediatly AT THE START of the Game). . .
