An Intruder is 4” away from a troop, and concealed in a smoke cloud. If he uses a flamethrower (MSV2) the target troop is still limited to a dodge-change facing (as the intruder would obviously disable Stealth.) If he’s kept Stealth active, could the targeted trooper engage? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Stealth doesn't grant the model the other models more AROs, just like Sixth Sense doesn't grant the ability to shoot through total cover.
I’ll clarify my question. With stealth active, the target is only able to ARO upon the declaration of the 2nd short skill. Does the placement of the template trigger reciprocal LOF at this point, allowing engage or other LOF AROs? Am I over thinking this? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You'd need to have kinematika to increase the engage range, normally you can only do it from 2 inches away.
Stealth makes no difference. Being shot through smoke allows you to eithershoot back or dodge, it doesn't actually grant lof so I don't think you can engage.
Spears answers is supported by the wiki entry for Zero Visibility Zone, which specifies that the only available reactions to the trooper are a BS Attack (at -6) or a Dodge (at no penalty).
Sixth Sense might be what you're looking for here. But people tend to ignore the part where it says you can make AROs without LoF if someone attacks you.
