Three questions about the use of medics in link teams; a) Do they recieve B2 for being in the link? Haven't seen anything to say they don't on the medkit page. b) What happens on two impacts with the medkit? It says a failed roll is directly to dead and a successful roll is restored to normal state. c) Is it mathematically worthwhile to fire a B2 medkit? Less a rules question and more "no idea where else to post this" question! Cheers for the assist
A) yes B) the consensus on the old forum was to only make one PH roll. C) more chances to hit, so yeah.
Moved and what @cazboab said as an answer. B is still under debate, but its the easiest workable solution.
Yeah, the other solutions are roll two and then either apply both results with a successful roll canceling a failure and vice versa the same way a coordinated order with multiple doctors, medkit or engineers would work, or if one roll is successful it trumps the failure. Interestingly, no post I remember ever suggested that a failed roll would kill the trooper regardless of the other result...
B was answered by Koni, I think, in the old forums. You'll be able to find it searching with known CB staff as criteria there. One PH roll regardless of number of Medikit hits.
