I agree. Getting logged off all the time was slightly annoying in Army, but is bloody annoying for the forums.
Still logging me out (not that I'm here much till the old forums shut down officially. And no joy on getting my avatar uploaded. Says it uploaded successfully but doesn't change anything.

Weird, is it fixed now? I'm in my office now and I didn't have to login; the computer was hybernating since yesterday and the forum didn't ask me to login when I opened the tab.
Shouldn't this be optional via a tickbox somewhere? Automatically staying logged in on public computers and whatnot doesn't seem like a best idea.
Must've been fluke because it happened to me too, but now I've had to log in three times already this morning.
Haven't had to log in since yesterday afternoon. But I agree that there should be a choice somewhere. I don't use a public computer, but I know people do... though I guess you could just log out when you are done.

It is not fixed for me. I had one instance where I did not need to log back in overnight, but since then have had to log in frequently throughout the day (sometimes only roughly a half hour since logging in).
I had to log back in just now. No, should be a Batou face. Wonder if Adblock and/or Noscript is being stupid? [Edit: it was Privacy Badger being stupid (had to allow assets.corvusbelli.net), so I can see user avatars now!]
