I think that's pretty damning. I'd like to see Stan be more efficient. Handily he has no sculpted weapon outside of his sword, so he could lose his combi in favour of something else, SMG perhaps? I'd also like to see him be more balanced around his infiltrator role, 34 points is a lot for a non-camo infiltrating specialist in vanilla and he's competing with croc men, and in millitary orders he's competing against AVA Total spec sergeants.
With an ITS tournament next week, I'm sweating losing Rao... he's the 2nd cheapest LT in SAA (after the regular) and it's nice being able to give him SSlv2 in a link.

Yeah, Rao as an individual isn't much to comment on, but his role as a 6th Bagh Mari was great. Part of me misses the days when shotguns were only +3 and not +6... His Assault Pistol shined a lot more back then. Brainstorming possible updates for him is a little tricky, since he can't really get new weapons loadouts; his model has both the assault pistol and combi depicted very clearly. A leadership rule makes the most sense... Advanced Command, for example. But I'm also not sure I want his point cost inflated much more beyond what it is already. Mines/minelayer would be nice on him too. Sniffer/minelayer would be extremely cool, both very thematic for him as a jungle fighter, and very practical for Acon. Any other ideas/wishlisting/conspiracy theories?
I would firstly check if he's not described as boring regular Bag-Mahri, mayby he's current role is all what he was designed for, and his fluff limits his cool factor ?
Give me something polarizing. make him a specialist (and not the operative type). Leadership skills would be neat, as we don't have any outside of Joan (I think). Maybe make him a CC god, that would be neat and a nice change of pace.
A lot of it is limited by his role as non-marker state Medium Infantry that's likely to be linkable and likely to be your LT. Making him something like a Hacker just increases his vulnerability, and being 4-2, 1 Wound, with no smoke means he's going to have a hard time getting into CC in any meaningful way. Sensor would be cool. I wonder how much that costs as an upgrade.
