Well this is how Persona 5 would work out in Infinity. A late teenager named "Joker" is framed & taken to court by a Yu Jing or PanO upcoming politician. This causes him to be placed under probation and transferred to a new school where he eventually meets the other party characters over time. They all have a stake, reason or grudge with people who "get away with it" due to their power, money and influence or another reason. To cover the mission/other world aspect, the Phantom Thieves would do actual heists to steal and expose data or evidence of a politician, civil worker (law officer, judge, etc) or corporate businessman or businesswoman's crimes/secrets. They will get more skilled and buy better gear over time with each successful heist. During their progress the Phantom Thieves would be hunted by the Hexahedron/Imperial Secret Service intent on catching and sentencing them due to their "digging" for the truth. Eventually the Thieves will met the politician that framed/got Joker sentenced falsely and try to expose him/her for their cover-ups. But is there a hidden hand in the shadows that the Thieves overlooked? Could the conspiracy theories be true? Maybe the watchful eye of Aleph is not the benevolent being "she" portrays "herself" to be?
