Iskaller was the AD Exrah, so he had 6-2 Move and super jump (with cover back then!) in exchange for the drawback of dying when killed. He probably had the LSG tax too so everyone used the HMG (yay N2). He also made me physically uncomfortable with his appalling model. Edit: Ninja'd
If my memory serves, though, that one had a weird inconsistency where the HMG cost +4 points over what it should have, suggesting that they were sloppy when adding the tax.
Quite possibly, I didn't see them very often as they made original Ko Dali look like Michelangelo had sculpted her.
What do you mean had the drawback of dying when it was killed? As in it didn’t have an unconscious state?
Correct, Exrah went straight to Dead, but were generally quite far from the closest Doctor (especially the Iskaller), and this was before you could reroll using a command token. Not much of a downside IMO. They did die to E/M, but this didn't come up very often in my games.

Onyx could mix things up with a bit more shenanigans. Maybe get a Sygmaa with Holo or CC infiltrator? Too much? Makes Umbra redundant?
As long as it doesn't encroach on the toolbox nature of the Umbra I think it's fine. Umbra tend to do a lot of different things with their points costs. Sygmaa Holo could be cool, I would love some more Sygmaa in general! More horned helmet ladies CB!
I'd like some weird form of Nexus that are the dropouts from the training program, kind of like EI Kuang Shi - lobotomized and cybernetically enhanced, possibly a warband-type unit.
I'd love a Maakrep HMG model, male or female. And I mean an actual HMG model, not a MULTI Sniper model that is mislabeled on the box as being an HMG.
I think something to fill the gap between unidrons and xeodrones in terms of point cost would be cool, some kind of EI drone in 30 to 40 point range, with some unusual equipmend and weapons, maybe something like skiavoro light, without strategos, with less of a WIP and with some new weapon for CA, like a marksam rifle or maybe marksman plasma carabine, that would be cool thing to try out.
Based off of the statlines of Xeodrons, they probably should have been HI and not TAGs. Drop a wound off of Xeos and make them S5 and you'd be about there.
Xeodrones are perfect as they are. With the possible exception that they are the one TAGs that should not have gotten Fatality L1 for free.
