Starter, support pack, dronbots and then choose if you want to roll a rectorial and which one. Unless you choose neoterra, pick the starter of that sectorial. If neoterra is your choice, the fusilier box is a must.

Icestorm, fucilier support, support pack, some remote boxes not necessarily the same, beyond icestorm and then you look for what you would like from the rest of the range depending on your playing style.
I get a free excuse to buy new Magisters and Hospitalers? Sold. But who settles for one Faction anyway - Tunguska. Currently still trying to convince myself 4 Factions and 6 Sectorials is enough to finish for this year. Also didn't really like Nomads so far. Then saw the Hollowmen....
Good question. Any other year, I'd rebuild my NCA and Acon from scratch. I love how those two sectorials plug into a broad variety of ITS mission lineups. Given this year's aggressive release schedule though, I'd probably do Tunguska and then Varuna. It would be fun to start fresh with a brand new project, pleased with my past success with NCA/Acon but excited to challenge myself with something new.
I don't. I'm not so emotionally invested in any one army that losing one will affect the rest. I'd continue with one of my other 5 armies and move on. Sure, they were my first infinity army, but I have others now. If this same catastrophe resulted in me losing ALL of them, I'd walk away. There are other shinies out there and there's no gaming commandment of "thou shalt have no other games, period". Back in 1995, I played WHFB and 40k. I had space marines and eldar for 40k and wood elves for whfb My woodies got stolen off my porch during a house move (someone jacked the box with the whole army in it, and some terrain). It was approx 4000pts back then (so not a small army). One army, my only "investment" in that game. Replacing it (even at 1995 prices) was non-viable. So I just gave that game up for 17 years instead and went back to the other. I did some rpg'ing as my "other" game in the meantime.

I would buy the same stuff again i guess (2x MO starter, old magisters, Santiagos, PanO-Icestorm) , probably more Order Sergeants.
