So we finally got some female knights! What other Military Orders would you like to see release female versions (probably in blister form)? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
Honestly since all the other orders are prob 1 off blisters not really any more. Since knights were historically all male and in the infinity fluff female ones were a rarity. If we can get 2 sculpts out of the upcoming missing resculpts each, id be more than happy of getting 1 male 1 female.
At least that Panzerfaust looks like it'll be a fairly easy conversion to remove the atech dumb-tube and repose him with a sword in a real longsword posta.
I love the idea of warrior nuns! Every order should get them Btw during the real crusades many hospitals, even in the Holy Land were staffed and managed by various nuns orders.
I think it's time for some threads about Rriot Boys or male Revereared Custodies / female Sin-Eaters xD
Those are explicitly stated to be one-gender-only because of fluff reasons. Male-Odalisque or Male-TechBee on the other hand... why not?
Right? After all, it's not the 11th century anymore. Pretty sure I've exceeded my allotted snark ration this morning.
I don't remember the name of the order, but they managed a hospital outside Akkon and posses a dispensation to use weapons for defending the hospital. Sorry, proud Teutonic Knights MO SecArmy commander ! :crossed_swords:
They are dames of the order not warrior nuns, that is bakunin. I do not think the private military companies of the church also known as military orders, have anything in common with the Observance to demand male equivalents in a matriarchal religious society. More male roles in the Observance sure, equality? no, would be interesting to see a male equivalent of the feminist riot girrls though, not sure the moderators would find that Interesting though, the acro feminist are the only module that came close to be ejected from Bakunin without a mention of a polarising opposite to the fluff.
Ok, to say it clearly: I don't care if there official title would "dame of the the order" or "warrior nun"! But I would love to field "Sister Innocentia" of the Teutonic Knights! And I also don't care if there were nuns, which take the 4th vow during the crusades! But I absolutely love the idea of female knights of the orders in Infinity!
I mean....they are sculpts of Magisters, so it is less than likely I will ever use them since I do not plan on playing MO that much. Though I can see if someone is splitting the box so I can do them as Montesa or Father-Knight proxys.
Oh you can play female knights and I personally hope we see a few more of them, especially sepulchre.
For once I'm gonna be that guy. I'd take offense if the most badass of badass knightly Order was represented by a chick for the probably only sculpt. Because that is akin to a political statement about the need to uphold appearances about a need for enforced gender equality trumping fluff and realism. We already have Joan to cover that part and no one has a hint of a problem with that. So let the guys have that one, the Profile is soso anyway. That is unless a female KothS resculpt gets us a shiny new Profile to fawn over..... who gives a damn about what I wrote a minute ago, screw politic concerns about the way my wargame is going. A reason to run them! New Profiles! Yay! Woohoooo! Combat heels 4Lyfe! Someone get me a beer, daddy is celebrating.
I personally hope the sepulcher is not a female only sculpt. If its a double blister with a male and female? Sure. But not just a female only blister. Specially since the religious orders have specific roles for their female members. Others like the santiago dont even allow female members. Fluff inquiry. The knights of santiago still exist in modern day. Membership is actually still controlled by spanish crown. Is that still the case in infinity. How does the order evolve from modern times aside from finding a renewed combat role.
Honestly, the only part I'm not sold on is the comical, Space-MUREEEEEN-esque oversized heads on the female bodies. Hopefully they're separate pieces, so I can use the spare head from Joan. It would have been nice for the Panzerfaust redesign to be pistol-sized, that sprang into full length when used, so hip-holstered on the other two knights.
