We don't want them to die to fast now do we? Wu Ming are a penal legion yes but they do have a job in the YJ army and that's being apart of the Assault Corps. Giving them heavy armor helps them last a little longer in their role. Also, Wu Ming aren't Kuang Shi as they can finish their sentence. It's rare though that happens as most of them die in the line of duty.
What are you talking about, the profiles are identical except the Haris option which given the lack of Brawlers and Clippers would obviously do nothing except waste points.
So just to remind me, what was selling point of MO ? Go play HI without chance to defend it well (hello all new hackers), while even almost hacking immune faction get their KHD (on WIP14 profile xD) ? Oh and seems that doctor and smoke in links just got much more popular too. Seems that knights might suddenly start being used as Mobile Brigada/Rriot girls proxies xD (if I get it right new ITS rules actually allows that?)
I don't think that is correct. Special is adding to the Core and Haris options the unit/profiles provide, not overriding. Go back to the faction list images from before. I'm basing this off of the StarCo ones as I don't have the other images for JSA or Ikari up, but the wording is the same on there. "Haris, Duo, Special" (Brawlers), "Core, Special" (Aguaciles), or "Haris, Special" (Riot Grrls) or example.
I think now that Ikari is a thing the world is ready for PanO smoke. It's time to crash this edition. ...with no survivors!
Meh, I'm very... whelmed by JSA. Tanko are good enough to recreate my usual MO list in JSA without risking them to feel the same. Mono CCW inflation and the return of the BS16 ML throws me off a little. Dire Foe rework is a joke at best. Isobel has a WHD now which is nice. Aelis is a mediocre Ectros/Gorgos enabler. Everyone else will stay shelved. The real Merc Factions look interesting so we have that to look forward to.
I'm super chuffed with JSA as a JSA OG. They've made some great little tweaks but overall the playstyle remains the same. Theres a few options to play with but yeah, not expecting everyone to rush out and buy the new JSA starter to win the next tournament.
My JSA feel buffed to me. No longer do I have to Karate chop with the domaru to inflict an incapacitating crit rather than EM. Straight to dead, bruh
Well em gave you an arm roll for each hit. If you really wanted to get a crit wound, you'd use the pistol as the dam won't matter. So really not a lot has changed except crits do two wounds? I don't actually know what dual wield does to domaru em ccw? =\
I don't think that's the case due to how Looting & Sabotaging works. Because otherwise, say, a Tikbalang couldn't punch the AC2.
Please do tell me where do you fin the 5th Riot in an army with only 4. While, of course, you can deploy 4 riots + Emily for fun EM speculative fun, and heal with Avicenna, she is more vulnerable than Avi, and you are depriving the link from a doctor. Mind you, it's all about the overall composition, I find both options a hard choice ("port-a-healer" or "even more aggresion"... angry supremacist feminists indeed! XD) Problem is that the Profiles PDF, which has more priority than the Army, lists the Wu Ming in Ikari as without "normal" Core option. But now, no sane greek wants to close with them. Before you would try to intercept the E/M ones with two Myrmidons and heal one afterwards, and the Shock ones with Achilles, Ajax or Hector. Now, you don't want any of your troops near those crazy killers who have, all of them, shock and another "f*ck the HI" weapon (monofilament or EM). Welcome to Benny Hill XD
