Since the recent update dropped. I thought it would be good to look over the new profiles available to the Husam Team Ops. However, the two Paramedic profiles, while I'm certain these are meant to save 2 points, just look wrong in the home of (Doctor [+3]). I just want to see what everyone else thought of the newly updated Spec Ops.
I think some profiles id standard for all specs ops. Paramedic only apports gizmokit + medikit, and i think for a cheap gizmokit, haqq has tagcom.
The Doctor+3 is a clear winner for me for the husam-1 with TacAware. For the Heavy, an +1B HRL with NCO or Mimetism-3 seems tasty, especially at 8 points and .5 SWC cheaper than the HMG. Edit: You can also add something to the Spec Bot. Sure, it becomes less sacrificial, but adding TacAware there allows the medium or the heavy more options. But on the other hand, a burst 2 + 2 SD viral Pistols or EMarat makes a nice fork on a sacrificial 6 pt bot.
Good posing of the sculpt could save it a bit in my eyes. For in general, I'm kinda disappointed in the frog. The Husam itself... OK, the MI version looks like it could go well with my original (N2-era) one. Get the same paintjob, and I'll have both weapons covered (VSR for the new one, the old one will keep its rifle, I guess the HMG one won't get represented anyway).
So the Husam-1 TacAware doctor checks off so many boxes for my playstyle, it feels like a given. You can run him solo, give him a Nasmat, and pick things back up without using a proper order. The more I look into the heavy, the more options I see. Sure you can get a decent shooter, but the Husam Heavy Hacker could do some work. Especially since you can make him BTS 9. The PS 5 Viral Rifle is also a dangerous piece of kit. And he can do 14 classifieds by himself. Edit: Jeez, a Husam doctor, Heavy Hacker, and a basic SpecBot can do 17 of the 20 classifieds....
