They specifically stated in the presentations that Spec-Ops would be for casual play. On the Team Ops, I am expecting an update to make them have the same keyword.
i think since N2 Paradiso i played, at most, 5 tournaments with spec op... and all of them before N4 If that was the plan, why put the spec op in the army, among the other troops? Why check valid the inclusion of them in any list, without any clarification, like when you add mercs to the lists? That will generate a lot of confusion, it was better like it was until now. Hidden, nobody is gonna play them, so nobody could easely find it,
I can see there being a push for this extra for this season. And I have used previous Spec-Ops models as proxies. I need to see the Haqqislam model, but by the weapon options I can get a nice Asawira Doctor or a Jannisary HMG proxy.
Ah you can play ITS for fun. Play a campaign and use the spec op - why not? About the implementation again: So many errors :-(
I love how Team Ops can't be accessed from the browser version of Army, and the Spec Ops gear can't be selected in the mobile app. No matter which version you choose to use, it's completely unworkable. On a more positive note, most of the ideas we've seen here look interesting, albeit expensive to play around. I'm curious to play around with it once it if CB gets it working. Tacball objectives feel like a much more competent implementation of the Xenotech from way back when.
TeamOps in the browser version is like the old Spec op, is hidden, but is there, in the New Group line

Man, I hate the look of the YJ spec ops, but clearly not as much as the guy who had to paint him. The other two look great, although I have questions about how the PanO Op's heavy armour helmet was designed specifically to fit her hair.
Yeah I don't like the head on the YJ at all. The rest is fine and I love the bot. But this looks a proxy job to me. I think the PanO one has a magnetic wig that fits on the helment lol. I wish the HI versions all had closed helmets. So then the can be both the single spec op and the team ops wouldn't look like twins. ESPECIALLY since the team ops is the only thing legal.
Never change, CB. I love how the art for the O-12 Spec-Ops reminds on of a certain Mohawked Marvel Mutant.... Looking forward to seeing the Haqqislam one.
So far - I like all the Spec Ops. CA is not my thing, but it has the best "REM". 2nd REM is Yu Jing and the Pan O one is a bit meh. I am not sure if I buy me in. I am a bit afraid the campaign will be only be small one. I think I can prox all the stuff, especially Yu Jing (old Spec Op, Wu Ming Panzerfaust, Tag Raid Doggo). Best Proxy so far would be old Chandra and old Proxy MK3 with a Yudbot - but I think Aleph set will be beautyful. Good point. The haris will be - if at all - the most playable Spec Up setup. Twin faces will look a bit silly. I remember the old spec op had also changable heads. The Nomads set is not so bad. It has a 5 core and a useful duo with an infiltratior, skirmisher and character warband. The Aleph REMs suffer from the bad weapon mount - how do the shoot from behind a low barrier?
No HMG arm for the Haqqislam Spec-Ops model. Looks like no Jannisary HMG proxy... but the Asawira doctor is still a go.
