Blackhearts pose looks great. I just wish it have more guns/equipment to distinguish it from the steel jaws.

The Nomad repack is weird as the Sombra is the only unit in the pack that is not in Vanilla Nomads.

The Shas repack is nice, though.

No Sombra in that. You might be mixed up with the Hellcat. He also has a leg up on a chuck of stuff.

While I’m glad there’s a Yu Jing. I’m not happy it’s a troop I NEVER use. Also the tradition of giving a CC weapon on a non-CC troop who’s already holding a gun. Just stupid.:-1:

Good question. Apsara and Hoplite can't be used in vanilla but the rest can.

Both Packs - Aleph and Nomads are a weird mix. I am glad I have the minis already. Only one Thora... Apsara prevents full use in SP ..

Sun Tze is okay. I think I get him for the collection. Vulkan Shotgun would be better though bc it covers two loadouts and he is not a great active shooter. It looks like he got alternate weapon arm with vulkan shotgun :-)

New Wave looks like the provide an Aleph proxy in the top right ;-) Minis look good.

I feel that CB are confused by their own release plans again.
It seems unsysthematic again with all of this repacks, chaotic.
What about essentials? What about last nomads pack they made...

Oh my... About Nex Wave miniatures I don't want to speak, because the more releases, the more I feel myself like an old grumpy person ("In the past it was better!..“). I missed their design unity in some moments.

So, I had my own portion of confusion and fun with all of this. From the last releases I am going to buy Miranda Ashcroft. Ah, ok, new OSSssss miniatures are nice, but I can't and would not buy them.

I'll say this about the Hoplite in the Aleph box, It's a great proxy for the the Mini-Max.

I asked about the box on the Warsenal Facebook. I asked if Apsara and Hoplite were going to be in vanilla now. They said they were going to ask CB about it.

So I finally got a chance to look at Nomads. And feel I can give a little bit of perspective.

    Bear-Cat, HI, Veteran
The Bear-Cat pisses me the fuck off! Like Sombra was a better Zhencha, Evader the better Haidao, and now the BC is a better Liu Xing. Other than CC it’s the same stats. Then every single one of them a dam specialist and 4 out of 5 with D-charges! Then nearly the same points. What the fuck?! I don’t get it. Why do they keep ripping off YJ? Yes, yes Liu Xing have the completely stupid and bad Explosion. BFD. Ok I know there’s really 2 BC that will be taken, the KHD with BSG and Spitfire, but both of them are fantastic. Then there’s the fact that. You can take three of them. Yes, you can in Corregidor. For IA you can take 4. HOWEVER, you can’t afford more than 1 because the rest of the force is so damn expensive!

Ok the rest I’m not mad about.

    Shifta, LI, Spec Trained
I think its main strength is that it’s a wildcard with Strategic Deployment! But then of course specialists, minelayer, etc. But this is a guy you can just stick in any team to give them +4” Deployment. Including Iguana, Geko, even a put him in a team of Brigada and they just leave him behind.

    Coyotes, MI, Spec Trained
I really don’t like the hat on a helmet but whatever. I’m not playing it. The ARM +3 is meh, yet another rule to remember. That I don’t like. But I guess it’s ok. I kind hope then other troops with a shield get the same. I’d kind of like this for my Hoplite.

    Bamba what?, REM
The names are damn confusing. I will totally forget which is a bot and which is a droid. Both seems pretty good, in particular the bot deployable repeater and droid FO. I’m glad they are dependent on the Coyote being there but he’s not bad himself.

    Territorials, MI, Veteran
Jeez, how many Marksmanship guys do they have now?! Again, all but one is a specialist. All with good guns. I’m not sure about seeing any Lt. versions of it but a specialist Lt. is always good. Their weakness of few Lt. is pretty much gone.

    Vigilantes, MI, Spec Trained
Why the fuck do they give specialists for Yu Jing a shitty SMG but these guys get Multi-Rifles!? This is just more “lets give Nomads everything”. Forward Deploy with a good weapon, hackers with BTS6, etc etc. Counterintell for what reason? Why would anyone take any other mid-field troop? Well the Moran is still good and cheap.

Overall, I don’t think they got anything bad. Even the Alquaciles got a super cheap E/Mitter.

This is the only one in Corregidor. Bakunin has the Rounder and the Sin-Eater (Sniper profile only); Tunguska has the Rounder, Miranda Ashcroft, and the Grenzer (Sniper profile only).

And all of them, except Ashcroft, in vanilla. But at least none can get a +1 SD.

You're right, the Bearcats even got +1B on their Boarding Pistol! Combined with the Killer Hackers' cybermask and they're really a PITA for most opponents. That said I'd consider both the KHD Profiles and the Spitfire the most popular ones, my personal favourite being the AP SMG KHD one thanks to the glue gun.

Luckily it's written down on the skill thus not much remembering needed. Furthermore with presumed B1+2 in ARO most of the time the Coyote might not even use the Dodge.

As Elric pointed out already only 1 thus maybe not even enough to justify one of the many Albedo troops YJ has :D Screenshot_20260616_081227_Firefox.jpg
    Screenshot_20260616_081425_Firefox.jpg

That's correct. None of the new ones are generally bad, most of them are actually pretty good (fortunately not on the OSS' "WTF?!" inducing level).

Albedo i still very situational. I'm commonly fighting against 1 MSV in a force. So against 90% of the force it's wasted. In the reverse. YJ has a LOT of MSV and therefore more effected by Albedo lol.

While I’m crying salty YJ tears, I’ve now been on the bad end a Swisshit ML twice. This guy costs exactly the same as the Hac Tao but has the much better +1 SD, and BS15. The Hac Tao has WIP14 which never comes into play.

I don’t think CB realizes the BS skill is the top skill used in the game. Close Combat is the least on average.

Average skill usage in order of amount used in a single game.
    1. BS
    2. Movement
    3. ARM
    4. BTS
    5. PH (Dodge)
    6. WIP
    7. VITA/STR
    8. CC

While you may not do them often, most of the time WIP rolls are what win objective points.

While this is true, only specialist troops are normaly able to interact with WIP based objektives. A high WIP is good when you are a Hacker or - not so often - are a FO and of course, when you use a flashpulse or any other WIP based weapon.

A few troops without courage (or religious) use WIP from time to time.

Uncle Sun Tze could use a SD for the Lt. Roll :-)

    @Tristan228

OSS has 6 Albedos now and Evaders in CJC have it. For YJ/WB Jujaks have only one layout with it.
