The dikpala don't really look better or worse than my dakini, so the model doesn't bug me, but no clue why the name had to change. Shame. Play very rarely, so probably shouldn't even bother with the pack, but it'd be fun to get a few more ALEPH even if there's not a ton of new stuff.
Who knows? I'm just pissed they have the same shitty ankles as the current bots! WHY?! I don't know many times I've had to fix a figure that breaks right at that joint.
The Loss of Lieutenant Podcast mentioned that the name change occurred because Dikpala is a better representative of what CB was originally intending with the Dakini name.
Well, rejoice! ISS will have brand new Dikpala to replace the Dakini. Maybe new Deva miniatures are in the way too, unless they repack existing one that are currently in boxes that will become OOP. They were lacking in funny name convention, like Kum or Long Wang.
Good point but not sure if that counts but i'll take it! But with my luck they are taking them away from IS or something. They have a tendency to do stuff like that. No I can get the image out of my head of a diorama of a Long Wang and Dikpala chasing after a Kum biker. Or Nomad cat girl lol
It may not mean anything but Dikpalas are listed as vAleph and OSS only, while Nagas Have Acon on top of that. So they either forgot to include some factions, or ISS will lose even more of Aleph toys or Aleph upgraded their shit and is renting only old stuff so ISS keeps Dakini.
They put out on Discord, of course not their own forum, that "Army update with all the Operation Mazebreaker changes will take place tomorrow the 27th"
Which is kinda sad. Even on facebook is no hint. I think about reinstall discord bc I had some trouble with it and want to join some groups again, but the Infinity chanel is too crowed.
I've tried asking questions but if i'm not able to watch when someone answers, I can't find it later! It's an overgrown chat and that's it.
So far I'm seeing a big FU to ISS. They no longer have Dakini/Dikpala at all! Only Devas. That sucks! A haris of Dakini and Deva was a staple for me! Meanwhile WB and IA get Johnny Kao. WTF?
And generic YJ (Kao is Wildcard in generic and WB). Are RacerBots a new thing? (I admit I've not open Army for a while)
