Judging by the narrative in the short, I'm of the opinion it is 100% for the campaign. Don't get me wrong - I'm pretty excited about the campaign, the old campaigns were great fun and brought us a lot of fluff created by the community. Though I'm still kinda curious how it is meant to work - my old go-to fluff activity (Waqf al-Badawi) seems difficult to weave into an investigative / black ops story. But, I digress. What I mean is we are yet to see the vids for Op: Mazebreaker.
I think it's for the campaign too. There's the Campaign story and the Mazebreaker story happening at the same time and I think related. I'm hoping the robo-shark-dog is not another Guardian thing. I just realized it could be. Like I was excited when they showed the Dragon for ISS and then disappointed when it ended up being a Guard rule.
I also thought it might be a new guard at first, but the fuzzy still someone got of the back of the box almost certainly confirmed it is its own unit. It could possibly still be a synchronized peripheral, but that also seems very unlikely since it’s one of 7 distinctly colored aleph models. So it’s more likely to be something akin to the Steeljaws or something like that, obviously it’s profile could be wildly different, just by comparison as opposed to a guard unit or something like that. either way very interested to see what it actually ends up being.

To bad it's not the super jump troop it looked like but I do like it. Even though Asura has Lt +1, I think Strategos is better. I'm a little disappointed the main set only has one new troop for Aleph though, the Shavara. The rest are existing with at least one figure already. But then Nomads have 3 new troops. The Beyond box too is only 1 new Aleph troop (with two figures) but Nomads are 3 new troops. But I think you can't take one without the other. Still that's little irritating. Looks like no flyer for Aleph. I guess i'm ok with it.
So, when they are little robots, Maruts only have one pair of arms? (the other pair grow out at puberty?) Babydroid inherited the legs of its Lizard mother but the shoulders of its Iguana father (even it it looks suspiciously like Mister Robot vacuum cleaner from next door) That Black Panther will go nicely with my Guardians of Corregidor.
