I see you, but the problem I see with using all these bridges is - you need to set that many pieces of terrain (at least 5, if we string the 4 bridges on a single structure) of the same height and within specific distance of each other.

I find that difficult to achieve when I'm setting up a table.

Two together - that's doable. Two sets of two structures and a bridge - yup. More than that, and it becomes cluttered.

We'll see once someone has a chance to finger the set.

As for the Objective Room, it was a staple of the 2gen Expansion Packs, after all. Unless the raised platforms are meant to be 8x8" and make do as OR underneath (and I don't think the size is right)...
Yup, the pillars might do for ladders, but that's not really intuitive.

Note: I do like the structure on the 3rd building, you can get inside. But it definitely ate a lot of cardboard -over two times more than necessary.

I'm also seeing ladder steps inisde of the footbridges, so maybe they are emant to be used as the ladders (there are mounting slots that would allow to mount them vertically off the parapet of these platforms, so perhaps that's the inteniton), though I'm not sure if the length is right - the footbridges look like they are singnificantly longer than the platform's height.

Still, I suspect Topo Solitario had his fingers in the design, and that's someone who knows his papercraft :)

As someone said, that building set is perfect for shatterpoint tables.

1 day and 12 hours in September. Is ITS 17 out yet?

I saw this comment about an important future update for vehicles in the dicewargods video:

I was hoping it would look bad! But it doesn’t so I might get it. But if I do, it’s going to be the proxy for all flyers that I use.

I don’t understand why Aleph and Combined doesn’t have one. Could be they weren’t sure about them yet?

Damn I don't need more paints! I used a ML Kappa bit in N4. I'm not so sure for N5.

I need bridges! I'm just not sure on the rest.

The Feiquan somehow reminds me of a forbidden cross-breeding between a rubber duck and a Ski Doo
Overall a fun and interesting Model.

The Triggerman on the other hand kinda misses to be interesting as a model choice in all aspects... might be the colours but it doesn't spark joy...

The triggerman keeps wanting to be 2 S2 models... Corvus should stop saying they are S4 and make them S5 directly, frankly.

We saw it in a sneak photo from the Interplanetario, I think, but it is unexpected to see it in a paints set.

I HATE the guns in the lower part of remotes or vehicles, it speaks to willfull disregard of combat logic (show as little as possible of yourself to fire!). Granted flying units like helicopters tend to mount them low, but those actively avoid fighting in the sort of terrain these hoverbikes are (urban, usually meaning cables, obstructions, etc...) and, most important, have their floating systems on the top...

For urban warfare you want sidemounted (corner shooting) weapons if humanlike, or topmounted for everything that can grab the ground, so they can shoot over debris used as barricades and improvised cover.

To me, they are keeping new players away, or even painters. It's not only that the selling price keeps getting up, it's that there are more and more alternatives in 3D print, and only players care about the "only CB-made models".

Aleph I think would be in the absent hole present in Vanilla. As for CA... possibly in Next Wave, since we haven't seen any profiles yet, but it would be the only faction with no vanilla flyer, with one in a sectorial.

I don´t know what they want, but they not look S4 nor make sense when you look at the profiles. This is the result, when you try to make new stuff, but you have enough already.

I did the afford to mount the weapons on my Aleph REMs on top. Putting them low looks utterly wrong. On a flyer the belly mounted weapons make kinda sense but I dislike the style.

Belly makes much more sense to me. I hate GW vehicles that have a gun right over, or next to, the head of the pilot! They will go deaf and blind from the sound and flash!

I’m probably assuming too much but I would think an Aleph and CA flyer would be Remote Presence. I don’t know if this is a big deal. An engineer can only use a gizmokit at range on them. They can’t get into b2b.

The Feiquan looks cool but… I’d be happier if the weapons were not so short ranged. It needs an E/Mitter over a carbine and a Multi-Marksman over Mult-Rifle. The +3 for both of those is 0-16”. The X-Visor doesn’t help much. Only the AKanone is +3 over 16”. All the others have at least one killer weapon that’s over 16”. The Redeye Spitfire +3 16-24, Go-Pod HRL, Zaybak Spitfire, Heytham Thunderbolt, Firbat LRL and Thunderbolt.

It irks me that the Nomad Go-Pod with Multi-Rifle and E/Mitter (both +1B) is only 3pts. more but has:
    • BSA (-3) and Mim (-3) So even with MSV 2 or 3 it’s still -3
    • Better BS13
    • Better PH13
    • Better BTS6
    • A peripheral
The only thing the Feiquan has that's different is the Sensor.

Is there any news on shipping to the US? I've heard that Spain is not shipping anything to the US right now due to tariffs.

Well they can if the vehicle is unconscious. Which is exactly why rem pres is good on the Red eye.

Yes! Shows how many times I've played them :stuck_out_tongue:. But I can also see how they move very far away from an engineer to make it almost impossible to bring one back anyway. A Sophotech or Dr. Worm, maybe. Or maybe a super-jump engineer like a Ye Mao. But still, it's going to be almost luck or making sure your engineer is close to it in some way.

Ive played the Firebat twice. I play it the same way I would play a TAG. 3-5 orders to kill pesky midfield warbands or cheer leaders. Then pull back to my dz or at the very least my half of the table. It moves up to 13 inches on a double move. As long as it is still alive there is Pretty much no reason it shouldn't be within range of an engie and his little helper at the end of a turn.

Yeah neither the Redeye or Go pod need a buff, imo. I do wonder what the so called changes will be for vehicles. Simply a point cost change? Actual profile change? My gut is that its mostly the point cost that mitigates their use. Its certainly the deciding factor for me.

I did cobble toguether a Mk12 in 3D (Aleph'ss Mk12 from MonstruousMaking, with a turret body from somewhere else) and glued to the top of a Tsyklon (without the mandible weapons), and it was quite good looking, even if I never finished painting it. It always depend on what do you want to glue and where, and using some greenstuff to integrate things as needed.

The flyers we currently have are in a strange position, they don't seem like high altitude ones, but at the same time they can't hug the ground like an infantry model. To me, they are like Climbing models that require no wall, so I would design the weaponn attachements to be on the side-top, if the frontal view of the hoverbike is a clock, I would mount the weapons at 10 and 2, or even 11 and 1, so they can rotate up and down, you can armor the "belly" of the bike, and can peek with the weapons from the side or top of buildings instead of having to show the whole vehicle.

No, not by the pilot's head... I know the Marine Kart buggy, or the StereoBolter Land Speeder...

Aleph has all the numbers, the CA one may or may be not a Remote, frankly, because of Next Wave.

Tomcats (now only in Corregidor... ouch...), or similar troops... PanO has the Blade-Ops engineer with forward deployment (30pts tho!), Krit Kokram in YJ, Parvati in O12...
While Sophotec is quite viable, if less sturdy than Parvati, DrWorm is quite big, I'm afraid, and we can't use the wormettes since those don't have the gizmokit :S
