Corvus Belli continues to produce figurines for other brands in secret. This may explain why production delays have not been made up. For those wondering if the trip is going well, at the moment they are still in the USA. There are photos on these posts. Some pictures from gencon 25. https://photos.google.com/share/AF1...?key=Q3V3WTlVcG9OYWk2OUVmTG1xbkpHYklqOXV3a2Fn Second day. https://photos.google.com/share/AF1...&key=QTdwazZxaXluS0JlWTl6VzVLT0MyZzJpMWxqa1Nn --------------- The seminar will start around 11am Indianapolis time and will last 2 hours: https://www.gencon.com/events/282668 It seems that the warcors have planned a replay of the stream on the Facebook group. I don't have access to it, but you might find it there. If I see anything on Discord, I'll copy and paste it here. I saw that Fernando Liste, the CEO of Corvus Belli, was mentioned in addition to Bostria, so maybe we can expect some big announcements. Gutier was also mentioned elsewhere, so maybe there will be news about the series at least.
The thing is, are they going to fix them too? Because MRRF has been always extremely bad on the table, and a Wound to Vita profile change is not going to fix that.
Here is what was said during the seminar (I only copied/pasted the feedback from the discord): Link to video of seminar : Spoiler: + https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1552745739029870 ---------------- The CorvuSphere app will do everything and replace OTM. Spoiler: + ----------------- Q/A ----------------- I saw on the German community's dark net that Tau24 had ripped the Facebook live stream and put it on YouTube, so you have the stream with YouTube's automatic subtitles. I've written a summary with additional information to the first summary post. The gencon topic contains all the information, and the specific game topics will be dispatched by game. Gencon 2025 Seminar Spoiler: + Here is what was not included in yesterday's first summary: - Start of the ITS 17 season for Krug, so presumably for August 23-25, unless the release of the ITS 17 rules does not coincide with the start of the season, which would not be the first time. - The Sphere app will allow you to report your own games, so you can easily use it to organize your own narrative tournaments. It will also be useful for tournament organizers, who will no longer have to enter data manually. You will also be able to write your own reports in it. - Everything will be centralized in Corvus Sphere, including rules, news, tournaments, etc. There will be armies from all games, including Infinity, Aristeia, Warcrow, etc. - Aristeia v2 is coming for the next Gencon in August 2026. The game will be better written and will have more technical rules, so there will be more layers of complexity. Aristeia v2 will take place in the present of Infinity, unlike v1, which took place in the past. - Aristeia will no longer be in the previous ugly and boring plastic, so we are going to use new plastic made for beauty and painting. - The Musashi in Aristeia is a replacement copy; the real one is lost in the sphere. - The Rem Racers card game will be a limited family card game, so there will be no periodic releases to wait for as with other card games. It will be fast-paced and aim to represent a race. There will be more drones and pilots. - Warcrow: nothing new to report. - Infinity, nothing new to report. - Return of the OOP sectorials, this will not be a reboot but a standardization, the reboot will take place on the day CB delivers the miniatures. - Novels. Death Song takes place before Sand Trap, so before N5 but after Endsong, it's between the two. This novel will be the introduction to the Corvus Archives, which will concern both Warcrow and Infinity. I didn't quite understand what happened to the relationship with Winged Hussar, who wrote novels. The novels will be canonical; this one has been approved by Gutier. - Content creation: CB will finance content creation (he mainly talked about videos). Cosplay will also be financed. They are open to other ideas; you just need to fill out a form. - The name of the new combined army sector is Next Wave, a particularly original name. The theme of the army will be corruption, so the narrative arc introduced by Numiria, which echoed that of O-12. Corruption of the soul, the cube, the state, humanity, everything is included. The army is based on humans like Achilles, who serves as a supervisor like Nourkias or the Umbra, and other new humans who serve as riflemen. The Ironside is a human version of the IE Gwailo. Not all of the army will be human; there will be a dinosaur. There may be other aliens (probably at least the standard support pack). - The Infinity Tactics game is still in development. They are creating everything from scratch, so we are still at the announcement stage because they have to do the physics, designs, game engine testing, etc. - FAQ: No official feedback on the series, which is still in the marketing phase. They want people to comment en masse on Lost Paradise's networks to show that there is an audience. For the moment, only the pilot has been made with dubbing. Some characters from Aristeia v1 will not be returning, such as Master of Puppets, because they changed the game too much. They haven't really addressed the balancing issue for the results of the last Infinity tournament, and for Warcrow, they're not surprised because there isn't enough diversity at the moment, but that should be resolved in 2026. There will be more narrative content.
[Infinity Universe] Studio Update - Gen Con 2025 Seminar Bostria clarified in the latest video that the old sectorials were returning this year following player demand. It's probably just the legendary pdf format that was previously discussed during the interplanetario.
Looking at the new human CA stuff and seeing the alien/dragon/dinosaur thing. *aggressively throws money at screen* I’m genuinely excited for this. The whole faction. Very much looking forward to what all it contains and what the profile's end up looking like. I really dig the line and heavy infantry designs.
The other question i have with the returning armies, is: is gonna be a 1:1 conversion from N4 to N5 (rename skills, costs update and that's it) or will be minor updates to some profiles and/or fireteams (this guy got a discoballer that he hasnt before, this guy now counts as X in the FT charts, this guy now have this skill...) nothing big, only small tweaks.
What happened in N4 was basically the minimal effort you describe, so... It's unsurprising, however. In N4 it happened the same, but they did not specificied that the factions would be capped at 3 sectorials. I assume this backpedalling comes from Next Wave as the fourth CA sectorial without deleting Onyx (as I mentioned here and there, that would mean only losing 4-5 models, since all the others are present in Vanilla, Shasvastii or Morat), or because USAriadna won't be coming back before next year's summer, I'm assuming there won't be an Operation for 2025 and that Next Wave will be released in March 2026 or so.
FYI, I saw the Facebook stream on YouTube, which has automatic subtitles. I made a more detailed summary, which I added to the previous summary post, and I also added the information to the various topics. Here is the new paragraph below if you don't want to scroll. https://forum.corvusbelli.com/threa...rritory-ever-higher.43465/page-12#post-485728 Spoiler: + I saw on the German community's dark net that Tau24 had ripped the Facebook live stream and put it on YouTube, so you have the stream with YouTube's automatic subtitles. Thank you for all you do, @Wizzy ! I do like how the updated the Zaybak as it now has so much more personality. It also looks more futuristic with the dragonfly wings. I think vehicles are in a weird place right now. But I feel like they will continue to improve with some tweaks. But all the models have looked awesome!
I mostly like the aesthetics of what we've seen of New Wave so far. Not sure how I feel about the dinosaur, but the humans look good and the warcor looks amazing. I just hope they're less boring to play than vCA. If they just end up being a Red Phalanx, I think I may just give up on anything new from Infinity. A lot of new faction design has struck me as just kind of monotonous and power creeping. I hope CB embraces the weird and makes something interesting. Like, CB, I really want to spend money on you guys. But I haven't bought new minis in ages. Most of the new faction releases have felt conceptually and aesthetically sterile. Please, please cater to me and entice me to pay you again.
