Would love that too, but I doubt it. Last paint set had a Forward Observer, so my bet is on that. I think you're safe when it comes to a doctor – all the other paint sets have niche loadouts that aren't already covered by existing sculpts as well. In fact, they're just resculpts of the old paint sets. Those were also all paramedics except for the Haqq FO.

According to gravitypool, who was at Interplanetario, the new community app will bear the charming name "Corvus Sphere." It will replace the OTM and will be part of an ecosystem for creating content and sharing with other players. You'll even be able to manage your army lists. It will include Warcrow, Infinity, and Aristeia the Hexadome. The app will enter beta at the end of the summer. The maps and lists will be printable (no idea if French will be supported, but it's unlikely), which implies that cb, in his mind, sees Warcrow and Aristeia maps as the Infinity rules, something that's not fixed. Onyx going into "out of catalog" is quite the joke, just the "tohaa", Xeodrons and the Nexus character are exclusive, all the rest are present in generic, shasvastii or Morat. Fraactas and Maakrep dissapearance were quite obvious, since the fraacta models outside of the CA starter were phased out after being repacked, and the Maakrep is quite... useless. I find concerning the lack of Operation box for this year. I hope Infinity won't be relegated to "sectorial boxes" every March and maybe October...
If i I get this correct, the Iguana now can take 3 wounds, then changes to the HI model, who then has 1 vita+NWI. Correct? That's 5 wounds needed to take it down! On top of that, Dodge +3, ECM Hacker -3, ARM4, oh and give it mines just for the hell of it. Jeez nice living the Nomad life. The Gator is nerfed a tiny bit. To the point it's practically nothing. Dart still sucks. Yamabushi addition is meh. Shurayuking being able to duo or haris in vJSA is meh. She's still now worth taking over other troops. Emily gaining Kestrel or Corp tag is pretty good with E/M GL.
I am glad that we are guaranteed at least one set of Haqqislam models this year. And while the flyer is hard to figure out how to use, it is quite beautiful.
All "vehicles" are just motorcycles that fly, with the extra rules that prevent Dismounting, Silhouette Touching, etc... (I think Haqq's the only one that has an escape system, thus allowing for a walking pilot). Well... the update from the blog is a little inexact: First, BOTH profiles have Viral Tactical Bow now (before only the E/M grenades profile had it), and both got +1B, so it's 2 dice in active. This is better than you may think, because the SMG no longer has AP Ammo, so you can now choose if you want to roll B3 against ARM or B2 DA against BTS. I would have preferred they removed more of her CC stat and avoid the point increase, since even as Specialist Operative the Dasyu FO competes with her (sure, she has EM Grenades, but the Dasyu is NCO, FO with Wip14 and has D-Charges...)... I think now it's a "hits harder Vs endures better" (as long as Shock Ammo is not involved, the Dasyu is not inmunne like Dart, but has the extra -3 to mimetism and Hidden Deployment... plus Infiltration instead of Advanced Deployment). She just goes from a single BS7 die to a single BS8 die... still annoying, but still much more forgiving than in N4 and N3.
I liked the changes in Dart. For me looks more like "maybe" instead of shelf ornament. ı still wait for a sectorial or something for aleph. we really in need of options in vanilla.
Not sure about you but the Immune Shock doesn’t mean much for me, because I’m not likely to heal mid-field troops like her. So unconscious is usually dead for me. I also don’t like leaving a body to be used for missions and such. I would have been a little happier if they gave her Infiltration instead of FD+8”. Spec Op helps but I’m still more likely to take a Naga, Dasyu, or Proxy. In Vanilla I would take the Thyreos. They only get FD+8” but move 6-2. I would have also liked a better CC instead of worse. OSS has very few good CC. It would have made her a bit unique in the sectoral. She is not a good specialist and not really a good killer. For me she's still a proxy figure.
Who has ARM1 and therefore likely to take 2 wounds from a rifle. In vAleph and OSS, the Dasyu has NWI as well. Along with Mim -6, NCO, Hidden Deployment, Infiltration, and D-Charges for destroy missions. All for about the same price. In Military Orders the Trinitarians are better for much cheaper. In KCF it competes with Beast Hunter, Yamabushi, Scarecrow.

You wrote a paragraph about healing her in the mid field, and leaving a body for classifieds and shit. None of that applies because of NWI. If your argument is shes arm1 and will likely die to 2 rifle shots, well im sorry, but you're probably playing her wrong Can't speak to OSS, I dont play them. I do play Kestrel.With the addition of SO on her profile she most certainly isn't competing with yama's or beasthunter for space. Totally different roles. She can complete 6 classifieds, and punch a button, and easily gets to where she needs to be. Competing with Scarecrow? Take a hacker, and now the 2 of them have 12 classifieds they can complete.
Her defense is Cover and Mimetism-3, giving her extra ARM would skyrocket an already high cost. Uh... the Thyreos is ARM2, but the Naga, Dasyu or Proxy Mk2 (I assume that's the one you compare Dart with, since it's a Dasyu in all but cost) are all ARM1 like Dart... I mean, she has BTS 3 against those three 0 (the Thyreos is BTS3)... I understand the Naga (cheaper, if only with Dogged instead of NWI) or Dasyu (Mimetism-6, NCO, Hidden Deployment), but basing your choice in "Dart just has ARM1"... I can't take that one as a reason for the choice xD On a more serious note, regardless of our preferences, those are "extras" the troop has to pay for. Mind you, I don't really like her turning Specialist, since before it was a safe piece to lose in any mission, but now you don't really want to place her into lists for missions that give points for killing specialists, and she had little to no use to her WIP13 (just Discover rolls with MSV1), now she does a little bit of everything (meaning she pays for things she is not good at, and is overpriced for those she IS good at...), which on the other side is part of Aleph's hat (which is something I like, but is a double edge sword because troops always pay more for what they are individually doing). As Taxites mentions, however, Dart can synergize better now as a button pusher (even if her WIP is on the lower end for Aleph... which you could have used as an argument too, Naga & Dasyu are WIP14 and Posthuman are all WIP15). "costs are balanced with the whole of the faction too" (but strangely, that phrase would imply a change in cost for troops when they are in a different faction... something that doesn't happen xD). Trinitarians are just the patch to allow the Speeesh Mehreeene from Corvus to sell because they are more than swords and powered armor in the table with them. The other three are a promo troop and N5 troops respectively, which mean "power creep", so... yeah, they are better, I mean, Corvus made them that way xD.
Yes you are right. Initially I did forget the NWI. Thank you. Add on the better WIP too. I get what you guys said about ARM1. But in my experience, i've had low-ARM infiltrators, NWI or not, killed off the board more often then not. I've come to expect expect it to happen. I just feel that Dart has better competition. She's not horrible but she's not my first pick. Yes she can do veteran cards and that one MSV card that comes up once every 20 games. But I'd rather the Dasyu for nearly the same points or others for less. I've also found by playing Guilang for many years that the MSV on him is nearly useless.
Some pieces have... history, with each player. For example, my Mk2 Proxy is usually always a hacker (99.9% of the times) and guess how he dies... Hacked to death, no matter if it's active or reactive, the dude almost never ends a game in working order (the Mk4 HRL on the other hand has a thing for burning TAGs to death). Now, a Naga is cheaper than Dart by virtue of doing less things and the lack of MSV, but the Dasyu, despite the WIP advantage, I'd say it's a matter of weapon preferences, while the MK2 is better than any of the three, aside from being so obvious (lack of Hidden Deployment, coupled to being the only Mimetism-6 troop with Camo in the whole faction. Yeah, you can disguise a Dasyu as an Mk2 by not using the HD skill... but what a costly decoy that would be :S)
