    "We will attack Dawn!"
"Why? What has it done to us?"
    /facepalm XD

One of the videos rescheduled the campaign for after a big N. That might either be the Military Orders army box previously mentioned, or another Sectorial (hopefully Invincible... but I doubt so, since they would be saturating the market and the sectorials were stated to be released as physical, not "paper" versions...)

Yes, the information we have right now indicates that the Invincible Army would be deployed to quell the Uprising. However, that doesn't mean we will get IA as a playable sectorial right now, because:
a - IA already exists... as a military army, not with cover ops organized teams (they are on Vanilla, however).
b - IA, like the regular armies of the Human Sphere, is gallantly fighting the Combined Army's main forces on Paradiso.
c - Infinity is all about special operations, small units, working together.

So, what we will get as "Invincible Army gets released" and included in the Infinity Army web app, is the final integration of the IA's structure for specops, instead of "conventional" warfare (whatever goes by conventional on Infinity against the CA, that is). Meaning, in short, that "the IA gets deployed" does not automatically mean "we get IA as a playable sectorial" ^^

EDIT: Also, the BoW campaign on Dawn opens the possibility of the RusAriadna coming to town (TAK/Rodina).

I seriously, seriously doubt that IA will be released this year.
We have already seen concepts or even models for other sectorials this year, and only a leaked image from an artist portfolio for IA.

Not to mention that JSA revamp already covers the existing Yu Jing playerbase, and another asian sectorial would interest the same people.

The postponing of Invinicble Army would be my only major grievance with the whole Uprising event - I can take the L and tryto live without Raiden or cheaper supports (even being forced to buy a worse-looking ones), but it is going to be a whole year with dead weight in Zhanshi and Zuyongs. "Just play ISS" sounds right.

As a Yu Jing player with only a passing interest in the Japanese side so far, you can imagine me sitting here with the Uprising news making the Gendo Ikari pose. All it would have taken to make me get hyped would have been a "As a reaction to the uprising, YJ is deploying the Invincible Army, so they are next in line."
Fluffwise, I'll wait till I have read the book.

I don't think there is necessarily too much overlap between Vanilla Yu Jing players and JSA players. At least not with the players I've met.
Also, the Zhanshi with shouldered Combi Rifle is just a rectangular piece of green stuff and a shoulder strap away from a great looking support. It's so easy, even I can do it!

Yes, a lot of them, see PanOceania hexagon for reference, the violent intermission, red veil, ectr ectr, in Infinity every faction has their good persona and their dark side.

Though before Japan is recognised as an independent nation, it is an internal affair, I am not sure if whatever happens is war crime or political crime, shenanigans for those that die from both sides, but it is a question never the less.

I think his meaning is more in the line "up until now, it was Black Ops, nothing really different from what we see in movies the intelligence organizations of big countries did/do, but the Uprising ups the ante a lot, entering into some mess kinda like the Balkans, civilians getting in the middle, etc..." and all that, plus the portraying of the secessionists from terrorists to heroic liberators.

Sure, the greys and blacks are there, but the scale has grown a lot, and now it does not include just HVT's but whole masses of civilians, which can be unsettling for some people. Venting about that is not only natural, but expected, and I believe CB prefers that venting against them being done (with education and manners) here.

I am not sure the Japanese are portrayed in any good light, as heroes, or the Yu Jing as war criminals.

It is a mixed thing and for certain the decision to involve civilians in the conflict falls squarely on the Japanese forces, not the Yu Jing.

Well, what we have now points the other way, thus my "educated guess" about how all this PR is in-universe made to support the JSA by various parties. We'll have to wait for the books to confirm that, however.

Which will be, sadly, the coalition of Anti-YJ making use of as much PR as they can to take YJ down a peg. I hope that coalition is made by only certain elements, mostly PanO and independent powers and the CA puppets/infiltrators, because on the grand scheme of things, a weakening of YJ only benefits PanO, and that is something none of the other main powers want, no matter if they are the third power or the last: an empowered PanO might be able to force concessions from Ariadna, while Nomads might see themselves blocked from certain systems they need for some contracts (while they can do a lot of work for the JSA and YJ factions, PanO only likes business it controls), Aleph wants a humanity as strong as possible, etc...

Well from the blog post, a much overlooked part of what was written that surprisingly for me nobody commented on.

I think nobody commented on it because the whole "The Japanese did some sneaky stuff to get international support for their uprising" isn't the part that people are surprised or worried about....if they hadn't done that, they would already be crushed and the Uprising would have most likely failed, so it's to be expected...

Or where you pointing at something else?

It honestly doesn't mean a whole lot given that the line has little context and does not address what the post was meant to address, which is how does this impact Yu Jing as a faction and whether or not CV is going to show Yu Jing in a positive light at all. All it says is that everything went just as planned according to the higher ups within Japanese society.

I did comment on that, regarding how the ISS failed to get a clue that was going on... And mentioned several times how the Uprising is so good for PanO and the other factions (but PanO will get the most out of it, placing a doubt about how much good it will really be for the other factions).

Don't worry, to make up for enraging the Yu Jing community, Corvus Belli will announce that Yu Jing has officially blown up a whole PanO planet, exterminating each and every Varuna unit there was, about 3 months after the official Varuna release and once the sales have been made. The resulting stream of PanO Tears will turn Neo Terra into Waterworld from then onwards....

Cause why only dine on Yu Jing tears when you can have PanO as well

Pride cometh before a teseum cored .308 round in the cube...

Confidence could cause PanO to over extend, the JSA restricting the flow of teseum from dawn to YuJing could cause a push on PanO's interests on Svalarhiema(just in time for the campaign in 2019... With white banner at the front) which would create huge opportunities for the other factions - you think they've got it in for YuJing? Just wait for the blue team to turn it's back and count the knives...

It is important who did it and what their motives were.

I think you put too much faith in PanO, sure they don't mind Yu Jing having troubles, but whatever Japan managed to get was not that critical to risk a war over, for PanO and everybody else to be involved there must be much to gain and the autonomy of the Japanese is not exactly that.

Do you really think Yu Jing would give to JSA such important assets when they were part of them? do you think liberated Japan would be a minor power if they had access to such important resources?

They would not need access to the teseum directly, the loss of the orbital station interrupts the supply line, even if the Japanese just want an export levy, YuJing will likely see a significant drop in the metal coming out of their own assets on Dawn, at least temporarily.

To go with some real life and Infinity examples....PanO Military Outposts on now free JSA territory (conveniently on YJ Planet), Access to the JSA Spy Network information, destabilizing YJ during some operation of PanO with little effort other than some diplomatic pressure and weapons delivery, very bad publicity for YJ, potential troop reshuffling away from important areas of YJ (Svalarheima?)....I could see a lot of interesting reasons why PanO would want to support JSA there...and avoiding a full on war with YJ should be just about as easy for PanO as it was for Russia with Crimea....

Hello here, talking politics and logical developments instead of trolling. I'll try to spell it easier: ISS has the shtick of being not only the Emperor's arm, but also the Secret Service + Political controller +... or, in other words, they are the part of YJ's forces that we (the players) know have to take notice of, precisely, part of YJ brokering deals with external countries in order to get recognized as a new, independent one. Negotiations like those also take time, adding travels, precautions, vettings... we are talking maybe years.

And PanO is the only potence out there who not only wins, but wins more than the others.

Not really. The situation could be made analogued to a Marathon: PanO is the leader, YJ was just breathing on the neck of PanO... but somehow YJ has tripped, and lost ground. The other runners (potencies) reduce the distance to YJ, but they won't reduce their distance to PanO, who can even increase it since now doesn't have the pressure.

But the beauty of it is that PanO only needs to say "we recognize the Japanese people as an independent country", and that's it. They would even have gotten concessions, contracts and who knows what else in exchange for that. No war, no risk... for PanO. It's a maneuver kinda like the creation of Israel back in the day, the ones that will suffer in this case will be YJ, JSA, and those caught in the crossfire.

The scenography in the JSA box is the Tesseum refinery YJ has over Dawn (or one of many). Paying PanO with the stored Tesseum for the weapons they got, then sabotaging the station if they cannot conserve it, would be the most logical course of action for the JSA.
