Nice Job Tristan. I like how well everything looks like its part of the same army. (I realize it is). Many times, painting that many models take a long time so what I see is that over months/years paint styles change and so do bases. Not so for your army they like very cohesive and well done.

I do think the Hollowmen have the best combat poses in the entire Infinity range. They look like a complete team assaulting a building.

    Thanks a lot guys

That's true, apparently the kids' brains in jars became quite the professionals for such missions

By the way, during the two Easter holidays I could finish my second Interventor, and that even in a seasonal theme:

And now again a better done than perfect paint job:

The MarSpiders! Don't know if I'll ever play them because they don't really vibe with what I consider a good trooper... maybe with BS Attack (+1B) on all their profiles

I like the Marspiders. I run them in a Haris with a MB HMG and MB hacker. The Marspider is a LI, and I usually take the engineer profile. If the MB are locked out via hacking, the Marspider can climb up and use his heavy flamer to destroy the repeater. Then removes the states from the HI. The Marspider brings a CC element to the Haris. He also has similar attributes to the mobile brigada. PH 13, WIP 13, MOV 6-2, 360 visor. I find him a useful compliment to the MB Haris.

In a game last week, The Securitate paramedic fired a dart into him. His PH 13 allowed me to bring him back to normal state. Then used him to fix a Lunokhod back up to strength. I set the fire team into a defensive position and placed both MB in suppression fire (breaking the Haris). I used the Marspider as a close quarter, large template problem for my opponent.

So far, I really enjoy using him.

Ok, so they have their niche in the Nomads army. Good to know that :)
Let's see if I find time and opportunity to test one of them in Bakunin. I think of pairing the Engineer with a Lizard (since I didn't play that one for at least 6 years).

Well, I like them. I was not trying to convince you of using them. The profile supports my playstyle with my Haris. They are neither a shooting or close combat profile stand out. I think they are situation dependent. I find with the reduction of small templates now in N5, having a +1B large template something to take when pushing into the midfield. Their CC capability is not great, but with a two burst CC trooper, it offers something to counter WB's and such. Only MA3 and above are a real threat to the Marspider.

If you don't think they are a good trooper for you, then do not use them. There are better fireteam options in Bakunin anyway.

Hahaha, yes I think that. But I'm open to get my opinion changed because I'm currently a bit unhappy with my usual list compositions.

Wow, the Lizard is such a beast. Loaded with heaps of weaponry. I think the Orphan is a better engineer option for the Lizard. Just looking at the skills and equipment. An extra repeater is nothing to ignore. I guess it depends on your opponent's list and what they are bringing to the table.

For me it was always a paper tiger which under performed (except for one game years ago) and after three games in a row where I lost a full health Lizard in a single active turn against normally easy targets - the worst encounter was against an ML Sukuel within 24" to 16", no cover, no symbiomate and the TAG was dead after 3 Orders. :grimacing:

And yes, the Orphan is better but not as fast on the 1st move and lacks the template-gun-dilemma for the opponent :upside_down_face:
