It's 10 minis, $15 per mini and it's a 10 miniatures pack so it should be cheaper than blisters or 3 miniatures packs. Infinity prices are escalating to MCP prices (not even Shatterpoint, they surpassed that already)

Old Crane and Pheasant are miles better than the new ones. The Zhanying aesthetic is also amazing (although the breaker and hacker sculpts are far better and more useful than the ML)

Ditto on old Crane and Pheasant. I also don't care for the hunched over pose of ML Zhanying and I agree with you on the breaker and hacker sculpts.

First new profile unveiled today on YT.
Para ccw-9 with guard sounds allright, nothing else really special.

Just a point efficient hard counter for impersonators with an added bonus to defend the DZ against paratroopers and the like. Looks perfectly fine to me - plus the miniature still looks great!

Well... I can't say I'm super enthusiastic about it. I'm not disappointed yet either. One of the new troops that actually fits their story with rules. I think it's a bit too expensive for a cheerleader guard. Not a specialist, not fast, big base so hard to place. Para CCW -9 is nice but without martial arts it's just that. Nice. Disco Ball is nice but i'm not sure i want to be exposing this big ARM1, V1 guy a lot.

I was obviously wrong about Albedo. Guys those things under the loin cloth were just decoration. The addition of a regular HMG is ok... i guess? I"m actually more happy to NOT loose the AP Spitfire. I like the upgrade of Nanopulsar to Puzar.

But this box set is not looking like a buy for me right now. I already have plenty of celestials. At least one Crane that can be any version. One old Pheasant that can be anything. I can use my Garuda for Jinyao.

Oh CB. Why can YJ get something OP at least for a little while lol.

Useless piece, sans the DiscoBaller. The 16pts Bao discovers better with other gear, has a flash pulse, and is not limited to ZoC effect with a 50% dodge ARM1 VITA1. And can link.

It can work as double-ko "defense" but can neither prevent nor stop any enemy, the MSV1 is straight up overcost. "gargoyle security" may fit it... if you think of an NPC in a stealth game that just hangs there.

It follows the recent trope of filled to the gills with gear/skills, and the usual binary trope of "cool model, crap rules / cool rules, meh model"

We have a saying in Spain, "oh, holy maiden, let me stay as I am" (crude translation, it goes to mean that any change will be to worse). The AP spitfire and the Triangulated X-Visor are good, the HMG I'm not so sure, it will depend on the other profliles (since the Hsien was more interesting due to the MSV2).

I was thinking about the box, but no thanks, I'll hunt old N3-N4 models.

I think the Palace Guard is good DZ protector. It covers half the DZ with its mine. Nice in missions like Mindewipe, Fire Fight or even ZO missions. The MSV is a bit too much and with nearly 20 its not an autoinclude. ISS could to similar things with 2 or 3 Kuangs but ... the are not that cool.

I am happy that Cranes keep their Spitfire and its AP now. No idea why they added a HMG. Two high burst weapons on Cranes in one team is too much bread in the basket. A MMR would be a better addition. Combat instinct will be good especialy for the hacker. Nice profiles overall.

The HMG is nice but AP spitfire is just better. I see no reason to take an HMG over the spitfire. The hacker is still very good and even better when in a Wu Ming Tinbot team. I was hoping the Crane would get something that would make him REALLY good. But he's really just a counterpart to KoJ or Crux. I don't see myself ever taking more than one.

The more I look at Bayara the more disappointed I'm am. He looks like a Literal CC beast. He is ok in CC but with Para CCW only. He looks like he should be eating Chimera for breakfast!

HMG for longer range. In case of the Crane I would go for the lighter targets with HMG and for the heavier with AP Spitfire ... theoreticaly because I would not play both in one list except for a meme list.

After you paralyize your foe, you can cobra it.

Yeah another order to kill it when the first one could have been enough.

Don't know why you'd ever take any of the non-hacker Cranes when Adil exists now. After the price hike, it's only 2 points more for everything he adds.

I think the Bayara are very interesting defensive pieces. I could see a list for firefight/decap that has a quang shi FT and two of these guys for solid DZ defense. That could still easily fit other offensive and defensive things. And that’s if their profile stays as is. Things could change as was brought out by Koni. I do wish it was at least +1 B on the heavy FT so the dragon and the dude both have one. But overall I think it’s very cool model and will get use for that alone. Also, there are still many profiles we haven’t seen that could affect how the units mesh with one another.

We know. However, they should know already that we will talk about what's shown in the videos. It's been that way for years, and the ball is on their roof.

Regarding the HMG AP, looking at the ranges, it would be a better piece than the AP Spitfire for all intents and purposes... again, contingent to the presence of the X-Visor on both profiles.

I can place 2 kuang Shi on those positions for the same coverage, repeated hits, and I will have enough points for a third KS (and a point to spare, since the minelayer is 19pts).

"cool model, shitty rules. Meh model, good rules". It is scary how easy is to find examples of that in the boxes CB has been selling for the past 4-5 years.

Not sure why you'd want to take either gun on a Crane at those inflated price points when a Hsien is going to be better at shooting things and Adil is going to be better at killing things (and a whole lot more) for only slightly more.

Crane hacker looks to still be the only meaningful profile, as far as I can see.

The SWC decrease on the LTs isn't nothing, and I'd still run one as a mission piece in a scenario with score for killing the LT (defense against Impersonators is one of the few times a normal Crane is just better than Adil and in fact one of the best options in the game) but yeah... that formula needs work. No way BS: Continuous Damage fits in 2pts and a pip of WIP, let alone everything else Adil gets.
